Travel Note
For guests driving from the Front Range or flying into Denver, the route via I-70 and Rabbit Ears Pass takes you through beautiful mountain scenery. Please allow extra time for weekend traffic or summer construction. Getting Around Town Steamboat is an easy town to navigate, and both hotel options are centrally located. Hotel Shuttles: Many properties offer complimentary shuttles to downtown, grocery stores, and local attractions. Ride-Shares: Uber and Lyft operate in Steamboat, though availability can vary during peak hours. The Free Bus: Steamboat’s free bus system runs frequently between the base area and downtown. Walking & Biking: Late summer is ideal for exploring on foot or renting bikes—paths and trails start right from the base area.

A 3.5–4 hour scenic drive if you prefer wider flight availability or plan to explore Colorado.

Located about 30 minutes from Steamboat; the most convenient option. Ground Transportation from HDN: Several shuttle companies operate between HDN and Steamboat, offering shared or private rides directly to both hotels. Rental cars are also available at the airport.

It’s ideal for those who want to hop right into mountain adventure — hiking, biking, or just relaxing — and don’t mind simpler lodging or a more “resort-lifestyle” vibe.
