Maid of Honor
Sarah's Bosom* friend and college roommate. With a heart of true gold, the most kind, good natured person Sarah has ever known. And watch out because she is wicked smart and hard working to boot, finishing her PhD in Classics at UVA. She met her new husband, Kevin, at UVA, also finishing his PhD in History. They are a perfect match and we are so happy you can meet them! Sidney truly made Sarah a better person (and roommate!) and for that Andrew is most thankful. *Bosom friend is a special friend for life from Anne of Green Gables
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Maria have been close friends since their college days where they met freshman year on the Honor's floor and later lived together. Maria's passion for social justice in college inspired Sarah and still does. Maria and Sarah both went to Texas after college for studies and found themselves some Texans while there. Maria is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who gives so much to the world. She is also married to thw wonderful Evan and mom to Konrad and Gwen (Gwen was born just five days after Livie!). They are destined to be birthday buddies like their mamas whose birthdays are just two days apart.
Bridesmaid
Sarah's first best friend at St. Mary's High School. She welcomed Sarah with open arms the start of junior year at a new school. Countless sleepovers, shenanigans, and late night snack attacks later she is still a dear friend to Sarah. She works in the film industry in Atlanta and is successful way beyond her years--with a work ethic matched by few. She epitomizes "work hard play hard" and is always a blast!
Bridesmaid
Sarah's dear friend and roommate at Loyola. Sarah met Kacie freshman year on the Honor's Program floor and they shared classes all four years being in the same Honor's cohort. These quirky two have had a special bond all these years since. Kacie is brilliant and kind and is using her gifts now sharing her passion for English with very lucky high school girls. She is here today with her husband, Anthony, whom she also met at Loyola. Kacie's dry sense of humor is straight out of an Austen novel and continues to bring Sarah to tears. Oh and she is having a little boy this fall--SO EXCITED.

Christine and Sarah met early in medical school as part of the same orientation group. Their friendship flourished as they discovered the other loved deep conversation, Downton Abbey, and impromptu dance parties. “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift played on repeat that first year... Christine is, simply, one of the most joyful, exuberant, thoughtful, compassionate humans you will ever meet. If you get to talk to her tonight you’ll soon be falling in love with her, as Ryan, our mutual classmate and her now husband can attest!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Sarah met early in medical school and created a deep bond founded on their mutual love of philosophizing and rich conversation over wine. They love discussing the social injustices of the world and brainstorming ways to make it better. Stephanie is a feminist inspiration who is destined to change the world for the better because she has dedicated her young life to doing so already. She is a powerhouse obgyn in training and Sarah loves sharing a birthday month with this amazing woman and dear friend.
Bridesmaid
Jessica is one of the sweetest, gentlest, strongest women I know. Her strength is only matched by her grace and kindness. We met in Houston for medical school and have been through countless hours studying and being silly together. She has finished her residency in family medicine—we all know family medicine doctors have the biggest hearts <3 She has been an amazing friend and given the delay from covid she is now able to join us! (She was going to be overseas on a medical mission trip last Spring). Since then she has gotten married herself to Porter who I cannot wait to meet. Anyone capable to wooing Jessica must be special, funny, and kind.
Best Man
One of my closest friends, and a guy I’m proud to know. I can easily say that I have made the largest number of reckless decisions with this fine gentleman, many of them on a beach somewhere in Mexico.... Car wizard, brotha from another motha, and someone I can always count on to find trouble with.
Groomsman
Bae #1 - a fact his wife and my future wife have fought tooth and nail, but have finally succumbed to the reality of.
Groomsman
Me, but like three inches taller and not quite as good looking. My favorite person ever to start fights with from ‘95 to present, and the best brother a guy could ask for.
Groomsman
One of the finest men I know who protects and serves the fine state of Texas, and the first person I seek advice from in order to get away with legally questionable activities.
Groomsman
Math savant, grower of the most luscious beard, and probably the only reason I’m still alive after visiting Thailand.
Groomsman
One of my best buds throughout medical school, now training to be a nose doc! He was going to go with John Doe, but that was already taken. #WhitestNameYouveHeard
Groomsman
A best friend since high school, Leo was the other person besides me in our English class trying to pull of the the JB haircut. He inspires my love and hate for board and video games, as he continues to irritatingly dominate me at them.
Groomsman
You know how there is always that one friend who increases your chance of you dying by 150% just by hanging out with them? That’s this guy.
Groomsman
The Indian JB, night owl, and the kindest dude I know. Thank you for keeping me uptodate on the most obscure Game of Thrones facts out there.
