Maid of Honor
How we met: I had no choice. Earliest memory: The gap tooth that he left me when he pushed me down the stairs.
Best Man
How we met: I came home from the hospital. Earliest memory: He taught me how to read with flashcards. The first one I got right was "bear."
Bridesmaid
How we met: We met on the swings during recess in first grade. Earliest memory: On said swings, she asked if I wanted to be her best friend. Turned out to be a lifelong commitment.
Groomsman
How we met: We were in the same Spanish class my sophomore year of high school. Earliest memory: He invited me to lunch and became the first friend I made after moving to Berkeley.
Bridesmaid
How we met: We lived in the same freshman dorm. Earliest memory: She said there was no way that I was 5' 2" which resulted in me getting measured against a wall.
Groomsman
How we met: He was present at the first lunch Eric invited me to and became my second friend. Favorite memory: We saw a movie together once a week and afterwards we would usually talk about it for hours while wandering around the Berkeley hills. Eventually we started a (not very successful) movie reviewing channel on YouTube.
Bridesmaid
How we met: We were on the same team at work. Earliest memory: Soon after becoming coworkers, we took a burlesque jazz dance class together. Our friendship was cemented via public pelvic thrusting.
Groomsman
How we met: We lived in the same freshman dorm. Favorite memory: We were paid by a local PTA to dress up as cowboys and serve drinks. They asked if they could auction us off at the end of the night... we declined.
Bridesman
How we met: We lived across from each other sophomore year. Earliest memory: Richard walked past my open door one day and said, "Hey, we always make awkward eye contact whenever I go to the bathroom. I'm Richard."
Groomsman
How we met: We went to Poetry Brothel together when I visited Sarah in New York. Earliest memory: We ran to Shake Shack together on my first day as a New Yorker — the first of many runs to come.
