We strongly recommend flying into Traverse City's main airport, Cherry Capital Airport (TVC). This is a short 10-minute car ride or uber to the recommended hotel location and heart of Traverse City.

Gerald R. Ford International Airport

This airport is located outside of Grand Rapids, MI. Though slightly larger, this option is likely best suited for visitors willing to spend more time traversing the scenic state of Michigan by car. If flying into this airport (GRR), we recommend booking a rental car as it is a 2-hour 30-minute drive to Traverse City.

Hotel

Park Place Hotel and Conference Center

Park Place is our recommended hotel as it is in the heart of downtown Traverse City and walkable to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops that TC has to offer. This option is best for those who will not have a car with them during their stay. In addition to Park Place, there are a variety of lodging options in the Traverse City Area.
