Please RSVP by July 5, 2025 as we need a headcount for some of our events by this date. If your plans change after this date please let us know as soon as possible.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm on Friday, October 17. Please arrive by 4:15 pm to ensure you are seated before the ceremony begins. Please plan your travels accordingly!
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of those in the wedding party. Thank you for understanding!
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Please only bring a plus one if your invitation is addressed you + guest.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our guests. Suits recommended for men. Please do not wear jeans!
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Bayview Weddings at Gallagher Farms located at 8555 E Lincoln Road, Cedar, MI 49621. This is a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Traverse City.
Yes, transportation shuttles will be provided for guests to and from the wedding venue, departing from downtown Traverse City. The shuttles will be picking up and dropping off at the Park Place Hotel. There is a parking garage located on 303 E State Street across from the hotel where guests can pay to park their car during the wedding and reception if using the shuttle.
Yes, there will be parking on site with easy access to all necessary areas of the venue. Cars can be left overnight, but must be picked up and removed from the wedding venue property by 10 am on October 18th to allow the venue to prepare for their next event.
The Ceremony will be held OUTDOORS on an overlook. When you arrive onsite, shuttles will take you up to the overlook for the ceremony. Once concluded, the same shuttles will take guests back down to the reception tent area for cocktail hour. Please allot ~30 minutes after arriving at Gallagher Farms to shuttle to the ceremony overlook so we can remain on schedule. Early arrivals will get to soak in the views of the overlook- it won't disappoint. Cocktail Hour will be held in a grassy area outside of the reception tent. We advise that ladies wear a flat or block heel to avoid difficulty walking in the grass. The Reception will be held in a tent with concrete flooring. Depending on weather, there will be heaters throughout the tent.
Hotel Indigo and Delamar Traverse City will provide more luxurious lodging options allowing you to walk downtown in minutes. Bayshore Resort gives a nearby experience that’s directly on the water, though not as walkable to the downtown area. We also encourage guests to consider checking out the many charming inns, bed & breakfasts, and rental properties in the area (think Airbnb and Vrbo). Regardless of wherever you choose to stay, all are welcome to take the provided shuttle to and from the wedding so you do not have to worry about transportation for our big day!
Local Michiganders know that it could be 75 degrees and sunny or 30 degrees with snow flurries. Jokes aside, the weather in Traverse City is variable. In October, it averages highs in the upper 50s - low 60s. Temperatures will drop into the 40s overnight. Please track the weather closer to the event to ensure you dress accordingly.
All events are handicap accessible.
