James Madison room We’re looking forward to welcoming guests who will be coming in to town the evening before the wedding. Following the rehearsal dinner, we’ll be hosting a casual welcome gathering with dinner and light entertainment. This relaxed evening will feature a selection of Indian cuisine along with a few informal games and opportunities to connect with family and friends before the celebrations begin. It’s a great chance to unwind, settle in, and spend some time together ahead of the festivities.

For guests staying at the hotel, there will be a casual breakfast on the morning of the wedding. This will be a relaxed, drop-in style gathering—perfect for starting the day at your own pace.
11:00 am - 1:30 pm
Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a casual lunch for guests who are at the hotel during the day. This will be a flexible, drop-in style lunch.
2:30 pm
Festive Formal! Men: suits or formal attire, Women: cocktail or formal dresses, Guests are also welcome to wear traditional Indian attire—bright colors and festive styles encouraged!
At 2:30 PM, the groom’s family will begin gathering in preparation for the Baraat outside of the main entrance. The procession will arrive and be greeted by the bride's family at a different location at the hotel before coming together for the ceremony. Exact locations and additional details will be provided soon.
3:30 pm
Formal Gardens Our ceremony will begin following the baraat. Please plan to be seated by 3:50 PM, as the ceremony will start promptly at that time. Once the ceremony begins, guests will not be permitted to walk down the aisle. We kindly ask that you find your seat immediately after the baraat concludes. This will be an unplugged ceremony. Absolutely no phones or electronics are permitted during the ceremony. We have professional photographers and a videographer capturing this special moment, so we ask that you remain fully present with us. Please remain seated and quiet throughout our abbreviated Hindu ceremony. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us create a meaningful, distraction-free experience.

Swan Terrace Join us for cocktail hour featuring a variety of Indian appetizers and an open bar. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be served for all to enjoy.
6:00 pm
We’ll have a brief break between the ceremony and reception for guests to transition spaces and, if desired, change into reception attire. Outfit changes are a common and welcome tradition—feel free to join in!

Suits, cocktail dresses, and traditional Indian attire are all appropriate. Changing outfits between events is common at Indian weddings, but not required.
Virginia Ballroom Join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration! Like any great Indian wedding, the night will include lively performances along with a few special speeches. Guests are invited to enjoy both American and Indian buffet offerings—come hungry and enjoy! Sam has curated the playlist, just like he did back in his college days, mixing pop, dance remixes, Latin beats, and Bollywood hits—so get ready to dance the night away! The bar will be available during cocktail hour, will close during performances and speeches so we can all be fully present, and will reopen at 7:30 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
