We encourage an unplugged ceremony! We invite you to silence your devices and be fully present. Our amazing photographer will capture all the important moments.
We kindly ask all guests to be seated by 4:15 PM, as our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM.
Greek dancing is a cornerstone of how our community comes together. We will open with the Kalamatianos, a celebratory circle dance led by the newlyweds. Most greek dances are done in a circle holding hands. We’d love for you to join in! Other dances include the Tsamiko (done by the groom and groomsmen) and the Zeibekiko (a set of solo dances).
While we won't have tinikling (the bamboo dance), we will celebrate with the Prosperity Dance, a cherished Filipino wedding tradition. Guests are welcome to pin cash onto the newlyweds as a gesture of good fortune, abundance, and support. Tito Henry will also teach us a Filipino line dance to open the set.
The wedding cookie table is a beloved Pittsburgh tradition. Rooted in European immigrant history, families would bake massive quantities of family-favorite recipes to celebrate the couple. Today, it has become a staple that often rivals the wedding cake. Help yourself to your favorites, and grab a to-go box later in the evening!
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional, and we encourage soft citrus and warm earth tones. Matching colors with the wedding party is considered good luck by us! Ultimately, wear what makes you feel your best self. Barong Tagalog is welcome for men.
