Oaxaca International Airport

Oaxaca International Airport (officially Aeropuerto Internacional Xoxocotlán) is located in a suburb of the city. To get from the airport to the city, go to one of the taxi stations located inside the airport terminal, where you can purchase a ride (use either a credit card or cash withdrawn from an airport ATM) to transport you from the airport to your hotel. We highly recommend that our guests use one of the two taxi companies located inside the airport. Be sure you have the address of your hotel written to provide to the personnel at the taxi station.

There are several lodging options in Oaxaca de Juarez for all budgets. Most hotels are small, with only a few rooms surrounding a courtyard. Moving around Oaxaca

Oaxaca is very walkable, with several pedestrian streets and closely built buildings. In addition, taxis are quite cheap, but you will need to have cash on hand (pesos, not dollars or euros). Taxis can be easily hailed on the street or requested at most hotels.
