Frequently Asked Questions

IMPORTANT: This page will continue to be updated as the date approaches due to updated information and frequently changing pandemic protocols. Please check back here often.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire is dressy but not super formal and guests are encouraged to incorporate blue in their outfit. It is an outdoor garden wedding and we will be on the grass so ladies should avoid stillettos! Also, some sort of cover up for warmth as it does get chilly in the evening.

Question

What is the Covid-19 protocol?

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We want everyone at our wedding to feel safe and not have to worry about getting sick. Therefore, we are requiring all guests to either be fully vaccinated against Covid by September or to show proof of a negative Covid test taken no more than 3 days before the wedding. This is mandatory in order to attend and is required by the venue.

Question

Are masks required and will they be provided?

Answer

Masks are strongly encouraged but not required as people will be eating and drinking and we will all be outdoors. Masks will definitely be required in order to enter the mansion so please do bring your masks regardless. Masks can be made available upon request.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at the same location: the Camron-Stanford House so no need to travel between locations!

Question

What will the weather be like in September?

Answer

Early autumn is usually the best time of year to visit the Bay Area and it can get very warm into the high 80s during the day so sunscreen is highly recommended. The temperatures tend to drop significantly in the evenings so it is best to dress in layers and bring a warm covering in case it gets chilly since we will be outside the entire time.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We don't want you to miss out on our party, but our wedding will be a 16+ event. Hopefully this advance notice means you’ll be able to have a much deserved night off!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our Home or Honeymoon fund would be much appreciated

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please complete and return the RSVP response card included in your invitation no later than August 18. Please include your name and the number of people attending with you and all dietary preferences. :)

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving up to a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Parking can be difficult so please plan accordingly.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is nearby street parking available but be mindful of the meter. Parking can be difficult on the weekends by the lake. We strongly recommend using a rideshare service such as Uber if possible. There is also public transit using BART.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

We understand there may still be some lingering questions. If you have any questions before the date of the wedding September 18 you may reach out to Jennifer or Michael directly. If you have any questions the day of the wedding please reach out to our wedding planner Tina Plyler at 707-696-0916.
