FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. To ensure you don’t miss any part of the ceremony, we recommend arriving early (earlier than 30 minutes is not necessary). Please note that late arrivals will need to wait to enter the church until after the bride has already walked down the aisle.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

You are welcome to park in the church’s parking lot, which should have plenty of space available. Alternatively, if you are staying at La Fonda on the Plaza or prefer to park there, it’s directly across the street from the church and a convenient option.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at our reception venue, La Fonda on the Plaza! It is right across the street from the Cathedral. Alternatively, there are many great hotel choices near the plaza and surrounding areas. We want to inform you that hotel rates for that weekend are unusually high. While you may want to secure your stay early to ensure availability, it’s worth noting that rates sometimes drop closer to the date. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress up with us and join in the festive spirit of the day! Your favorite semi-formal or dressy-casual outfit is perfect—polished and elevated, while still comfortable. Feel free to add your own western flair to match the southwest setting; we love bolo ties around here!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Please click on the registry tab to view details.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2025 — we look forward to seeing you there!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If someone isn’t specifically included on the invitation, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests due to limited space. If you’re unsure who was included on your invitation, you can check by searching the name on the RSVP tab. Thank you for understanding, and we are very excited to see you there!

Question

Dietary Restrictions

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies that we need to be aware of. We are happy to accommodate!

Question

Can I receive communion at a Catholic mass?

Answer

As Catholics we believe that, through the consecration, the bread and wine become the true body and blood of Christ. We take seriously Paul’s words and ask that those who do not share that belief refrain from receiving communion: “For whoever eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks a sentence against himself, not discerning it to be the body of the Lord.” – 1 Cor 11:29 Baptized Catholics who have received their first communion, have been to confession within the last year, and are not aware of having committed mortal sin since their last confession may receive the Eucharist. If you are not able to receive sacramentally, please know that you are welcome to receive spiritually in the form of a blessing. To receive one, simply cross your arms over your chest as you approach the priest.
