Dress Code

We kindly request church-appropriate, semi-formal, or dressy cocktail attire. Suits or sport coats with dress shirts, cocktail dresses, or elegant jumpsuits are perfect.

Gifts/Registry

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We don’t have a traditional registry, but for those who wish to give, we have an online fund available (see "Registry" tab at the top of the page) and will have a card box at the reception. Thank you so much for celebrating with us!

Arrival Time

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

Parking & Transportation

Answer

Parking will be available on-site at Westover United Methodist Church. After the ceremony, guests may leave their cars parked and walk across the street to the cocktail hour and reception. Additional overflow parking will be at the reception location across the street (Blossom Ridge Farm). Please note: rideshare services are limited in the Stanardsville/Ruckersville area. Guests staying in Charlottesville may have more reliable access, but we recommend driving or arranging transportation in advance.

Cell Service

Please note that cell service may be limited in some mountainous areas (such as near Lydia Mountain). We recommend downloading directions ahead of time and allowing a little extra travel time.

While we love your little ones, we are planning an adults-only celebration unless children are specifically named on the invitation.

If you’re making a weekend of it, we highly recommend exploring nearby wineries (Barboursville Vineyards and Pippin Hill are great), taking a drive on the Skyline Drive or exploring the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville for shops + dining.
