From the moment she walked into their first date, she knew he was going to be someone special. He has an ability to immediately put people at ease and make them feel comfortable. He is down-to-earth, but pushes Jenna to dream big. Matt is thoughtful, supportive, and absolutely hilarious, but above all he is patient and kind. He is the man Jenna has dreamed of, and so much more than she ever thought she could have. From laundry and road trips to festivals and holidays, Jenna loves doing life with him.

Mother of the Bride
Carolee is the mother to Jenna (bride), Lexi (maid of honor), and Landry (groomsman). She is a kind and caring woman who has never met a stranger. Jenna has Carolee's talent for organizing events and they share a love of working with kids.
Melinda Surbaugh
Mother of the Groom
Melinda is the mother of both Matt and Richard Surbaugh. This champion raised two semi-well behaved men and continues to be a nurturing and compassionate person. Matt finds a lot joy in having Melinda as his mother and looks forward to sharing their dance together at the reception.
Wes Sampson
Father of the Bride
Wes is the father of Jenna (bride), Lexi (bridesmaid), and Landry (groomsman). He taught Jenna a lot of important skills, like how to bait a hook and load a car perfectly. He is a hard-working and friendly man.
Richard Surbaugh
Best Man
This charismatic man is Matt's older brother who has always been there for him and is a great example of a caring human being. Richard is wealthy with joy and love, to which he is charitable in sharing. Matt was Richard's best man when he married his wife, Emily, and Matt was only too eager to have his brother be his best man when he marries Jenna.
Allison McDonald
Matron of Honor
"Childhood best friend" isn't quite accurate, since Jenna and Allison's friendship has continued well into their adulthood. Jenna and Allison met in second grade and attended church and school together for years. They also roomed together in college, so Allison has plenty of awkward and embarrassing stories to tell about Jenna (and some hilarious emo phase photos). Friendships like Jenna's and Allison's are rare in life, and Jenna has been looking forward to having Allison stand next to her at her wedding for 22 years. Allison is patient, understanding, and wonderfully supportive friend.
Greg Langworthy
Groomsman
Greg is one of Matt's best friends he met in high school health class. Greg is an accomplished scholar, studying law and passing the bar all while dealing with Matt's antics. Being the best man at Greg's wedding to his wife Emily, Matt and Greg fostered a friendship that is strong to this day.
Lexi Sampson
Maid of Honor
Lexi is Jenna's younger sister. As true with many siblings, Jenna and Lexi didn't always get along well when they were younger. However, after realizing the value of having a sister that's as weird and goofy as you are, they became much closer in their teenage years. Jenna is grateful to have a sister as kind, compassionate, and caring as Lexi.
Jason Brown
Groomsman
Jason is a life long friend of Matt's, dating back to kindergarten. He and Matt would often play video games together after walking home from school. Jason and Matt were roommates when Matt had his brief stint in California. Jason is a charming and artistic fellow who has found success in the film industry where he shares his talents.
Jessika Rieck
Bridesmaid
Workmates turned real friends, Jessika was one of Jenna's first buddies when she moved to Dallas after college. They quickly bonded over their love of adventurous eating, music, and pool days. Jessika has been a great support to Jenna as they worked their way through the beginning stages of adulthood. She is a great listener and always up for something new.
Stephen Jones
Groomsman
Stephen is easily recognized as the only person in the room taller than Matt. Also, he is Matt's oldest friend in the world. Born less that a month apart and growing up only two streets away from each other, these two are definitive friends to the end. Stephen and Matt found themselves getting into trouble and fun growing up, creating memories that could last lifetimes.
Sara Waggoner
Bridesmaid
Jenna calls Sara (aka Swag) her comedic soul mate. Laughter is never in short supply when they are together, whether they're doing silly voices or making deep-cut references to their favorite TV show, The Office. Swag and Jenna have been friends for the better part of a decade, and they have collected dozens of inside jokes along the way. There's never a dull moment when these two are together, and Jenna looks forward to many more inside jokes to come!
Landry Sampson
Groomsman
Ambitious, polite, and shorter than Matt, Landry is a fine brother-in-law to have in Matt's life. Jenna's baby brother has welcomed Matt into the family with open arms and generosity. The two quickly became pals, finding commonality in sports and poking fun at Jenna. His positive attitude and sense of humor draws you in and you stay for the charisma and charm.
Kinsey Alexander
Bridesmaid
Although it took Jenna and Kinsey quite a while to figure out how they knew each other when they crossed paths in Dallas (turns out they attended a weekend class together at Harding), it didn't take long for them to form a close friendship. Kinsey has been Jenna's favorite happy-hour date for years and the two have cried, laughed, and encouraged each other at every turn. Kinsey is a strong, kind, and determined woman and Jenna is lucky to have her on her side.
Mandy Murphy

Jenna met Mandy while they were waiting tables together in Addison. Nothing brings people together quite like the trauma of being in the service industry. Mandy and Jenna learned quickly to lean on each other, and Jenna couldn't be more thankful Mandy came into her life when she did. Although they live half a country apart, Mandy and Jenna can pick up where they left off at every single visit. Mandy is deeply caring, creative, and a truly special friend.
