We suggest that you base yourselves in the Port de Soller due to its close proximity to all of our venues across the three days. Port de Sóller in North West Mallorca is a small, picturesque coastal village which has become popular particularly due to its historic tram, large horseshoe-shaped bay scooped out of the Tramuntana mountains and scenic surroundings. As an old fishing harbour, it is also a great place to eat fish and seafood and the marina is the perfect starting point for yacht and sailing trips to neighbouring bays such as Sa Calobra and Sa Foradada. This charming seaside town is the perfect place to base yourselves with a pedestrianised waterfront, a curving stretch of beach backed by tavernas and beach restaurants.
A typical old Mediterranean town, Soller is made up of narrow streets lined with traditional style residential townhouses. The main square, Plaça Constitució, has plenty of cafes and restaurants and the area comes alive on Saturdays when the local market takes place. A town rich in history, full of beautiful architecture and museums. Soller lies a couple of miles inland from its port, Port de Soller. There is a vintage tram that runs from the town to the port every day.
For those of you who have time, Palma is a must stop destination. Mallorca's historic capital, Palma is rich in history and culture, offering charming streets, amazing resutarants, and stunning views. Don’t miss the breathtaking La Seu Cathedral, an iconic Gothic landmark overlooking the harbor. There are great spots for tapas in and around old town. Tons of shopping. Ask Sam and Becky for any extra tips!
A small coastal village on the northwest coast of Mallorca, Deia is one of the prettiest villages on the island. Perched in a revine at the foot of the Teix mountain with views of the Mediterranean below, Deia is part of a landscape awarded world heritage site status for the way in which nature, culture and traditions merge. Parking here is extremely limited so we would recommend getting a taxi/bus or driving up early in the morning!
Valldemossa The beautiful town of Valldemossa provides the perfect strolling experience with its narrow, cobbled, scenic streets lined with cafes and small boutiques. A visit to the town's Real Cartuka monastery is a must. Valldemossa’s street market takes place every Sunday morning and is a great place to source quality local produce, including fruit and vegetables, cheeses and Spanish ham.
