Centennial Park

This is one of our favorite parks in Nashville, and right down the street from where we used to live! The park is enormous with a nice walking path, space to play soccer or fly a kite; you can even rent bikes to toodle around. Inside the Parthenon is a little museum and a ridiculously large, brilliantly gold statue of Athena.

Robert's Western World

If you need a honkeytonk in your life, this is it! And the only one of which we can approve. Robert's is the only place you'll find downtown that plays traditional country western music every night of the week.

Frist Center for the Visual Arts

This place was actually the post office once upon a time! Now it's Nashville's biggest art museum, and the art deco interior is stunning.

Rolf and Daughters

One of our top 2 favorite restaurants in Nashville! If you eat here, you must order a pasta dish.

Sushiyobi

Our favorite sushi spot!

The Treehouse Restaurant

Our other top 2 favorite restaurant beside Rolf and Daughters! This place is a foodie's DREAM. Sit at the bar and watch them work! And don't forget to have a wander up to the treehouse out back.

Rudy's Jazz Room

Incredible little jazz cavern with a New Orleans style menu and cocktails. Jonathan took me here the night he proposed!

Radnor Lake State Park

This is a gorgeous sanctuary right in Nashville! We hike the lake trail regularly, where you are sure to meet deer, turkeys, turtles, otters and lots of other critters.

Sky Blue Cafe

This is a nice walkable area with tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping.

Ryman Auditorium

Our favorite music venue in the entire WORLD. Hands down. Take a tour and learn the incredible history of The Mother Church. (the original Opry)

The Oak Bar at the Hermitage Hotel

The historic hotel is gorgeous, but head downstairs to the Oak Bar. This place is legendary and so are its bathrooms.

You have to see this place at least once! Multiple atriums of tropical plants to wander through. There is even a boat ride down a river past waterfalls. INSIDE this hotel!
