Travel Note
There are plenty of other hotels all over town worth checking out — including many falling under the Marriott and Hilton umbrellas. Some cool hotels on the more expensive side include: - The Thompson: Hyatt hotel, located downtown, 4.5 stars on Google. - The Graduate: Really cool Dolly Parton themed hotel (it's very pink). Has a great coffee shop downstairs and Dolly-themed bar at the rooftop. - Four Seasons: Luxurious, nice spot with amazing views downtown. - Noelle: Popular boutique hotel in town. Located by Printer's Alley. - The Hermitage Hotel: Historic hotel in town also by Printer's Alley. - W Nashville: Modern hotel full of Nashville artwork, located in The Gulch, one of our favorite areas in Nashville - The Russell: Hotel in East Nashville, used to be a church, turned into a hotel, limited service. - The Joseph: Nice spot, has a cool rooftop bar, has a luxury spa and salon too - Gaylord Opryland Resort: Not especially close to main part of Nashville but HUGE, sprawling resort if you want that sort of experience. - JW Marriott: Hard to go wrong with a JW.
Flight
We recommend flying into Nashville, but just in case: other "nearby" airports include Knoxville (2 hour, 47 min drive), Chattanooga (2 hour, 25 min drive) and Huntsville, AL (1 hour, 50 min drive).
