The home of Honky Tonk! This is the main drag of bars and live music in town. Some good restaurants too. It can get very packed at times — but there are so many cool bars and places worth checking out that it's not hard to find a spot you like, with somewhere to sit, drink and listen to great music. You can also find cowboys hats and boot stores. Our favorite spots on Broadway: - Nudie's - Tootsie's - Acme Feed & Seed - The Valentine - Honky Tonk Central - Jelly Roll's Goodnight Nashville
Old school, really cool famous alley in downtown Nashville. The oldest nightlife district in Nashville. Some great restaurants and bars. At minimum worth walking through. Alley Taps is a great spot that usually has live music.
Nashville is known for its Hot Chicken — basically spicy fried chicken — and this is our favorite spot. There are a handful of locations around town, some with longer lines than others. Pretty much anything you order here is delicious (including the sides and desserts) though you might need a nap after. Some other popular Hot Chicken spots include Prince's and Bolton's.

On Music Row in Downtown Nashville. They have an entire Taylor Swift wing. Separate from this, there's also a Johnny Cash Museum in town.
Iconic, intimate music venue. It's hard to get tickets — you have to buy them immediately when they come available like a week before the date you want to go — but it's worth it if you can. Taylor Swift was discovered here — and famous musicians pop in sometimes.
