Question

So you’re having another wedding even though you’re already married?

Answer

In short, yes. We wanted to be married, so we went ahead with a backyard mini-mony in the midst of the pandemic. However, we still want to have a bigger reception closer to our original wedding we spent so much time planning and include/celebrate with all the family and friends that we couldn’t safely invite this past summer.

What if I’ve already bought/sent you a gift?

Answer

If you’ve already sent us a wedding gift for our last wedding, you should’ve gotten a thank you, but you will also receive a thank you note for your gift after our rescheduled wedding as well so that you know how much we appreciated your gift and getting to use it for a year before our big wedding! You are not expected to get us a second gift for the rescheduled wedding. We just really want to be able to celebrate with everyone.

Is it safe enough for a big crowd again?

Answer

With the vaccine out and being distributed as quickly as possible, we feel a lot more confident in guest safety than we did last summer. Both of us are fully vaccinated, and we know many of our other guests will be as well, otherwise masks are always welcome!
