As much as we love your kids, we believe parents deserve a night off. This is an adult-only affair.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specified on your invitation, you cannot bring a plus one.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, it is '70s cocktail attire. We are throwing it back to 1976 with our wedding, so we request to please dress for the occasion. No jeans please, but we encourage all the corduroy, paisley, maxi-dresses, jumpsuits, sequins and fringe you can find!

Are there any colors you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

Since we are having a '70s inspired wedding, we encourage you to get colorful! In case you want to go neutral, popular colors of the decade were beige, rust, teal, avocado, harvest gold, mustard yellow, and earthy browns.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 1:00 PM sharp. Please arrive by 12:30 PM to snag a seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The venue has parking surrounding the area. Bottlerocket maintains 2 large free parking lots at 824 Industry St. and 205 Allen St. There is also free street parking along Arlington Ave, Industry St, and a free parking lot behind the Dollar Bank (after 5pm). There are also 2 paid lots off of Warrington Ave. PLEASE, DO NOT PARK IN THE TWO LOTS ADJACENT TO THE VENUE! (these are reserved for the police station, YOU WILL GET TOWED IF YOU PARK HERE)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Absolutely not. We are having an uplugged ceremony. We have the best wedding photographer in the biz, and we would like to respect her work.

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

It is #GotMilko. Please see above for social media/photography etiquette during the ceremony - but with the reception please take as many photos as you'd like and use our hashtag!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors, but March in Pittsburgh is always unpredictable. We could have a blizzard or it could be 80 and sunny. Please monitor the weather and dress accordingly.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a limited hotel block at Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead. More information is located under the "Travel" tab.
