The earlier, the better when it comes to booking international flights. We recommend arriving in Italy at least a day before the welcome dinner to start adjusting to the time zone and allow for any travel mishaps. Check the travel page for more details.
You will need a passport! And make sure that it doesn't expire within 3 months of your travel dates. We learned that the hard way :)
We will be providing transportation to all wedding events (other than the welcome dinner if you are staying in Florence - it's either a 10 minute walk from the hotel or you can take a taxi / uber if you prefer). In general, Florence is very easy to get around. You can walk, Uber, or take a taxi. If you’re staying at the villa: There is parking on-site if you’d like to rent a car for your stay, but it's not necessary. If you’re staying in Florence: We recommend against renting a car for the city, but you can always rent one for just the day to explore the countryside!
Yes! Transportation is provided for all wedding events (except for the welcome dinner if you are staying in Florence since Florence is very easy to get around and mostly walkable!) For the wedding day, we’ll provide shuttles to and from the wedding venue. Guests staying in Florence will meet at the Hotel Gallery Art at 3:30 PM. For guests staying at Dimora Ghirlandaio the gathering is at 3:45 PM. You will also receive a welcome card when you arrive with more details.

All events will (hopefully) be outside!
