Question

How do I get on campus?

Answer

All guests must have either a military ID, a visitor’s pass, or be directly escorted by someone with a military ID to access campus beyond the Thayer Hotel. Guests without a military ID MUST pick up their visitor’s passes upon arrival to the area in order to access our events. Please text Kim Pandick at 919-619-7229 to arrange pickup at the Thayer Hotel.

Question

What parking options are available for the weekend?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner: Lot parking is available adjacent to Ike Hall along the river. Ceremony: There is limited parking available at the Cadet Chapel, including handicap spaces, as well as lot parking available in Lot A adjacent to Michie Stadium, an approximate 5-10 minute walk from the Chapel. Reception: Lot parking is available on the roof of Thayer Hall next to the West Point Club. Farewell Brunch: Attendees may park at the Thayer Hotel.

Question

Are there any shuttles available on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see below. All shuttles will pick up or drop off at the main entrance of the Thayer Hotel. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for boarding so that the shuttles may depart on time. Guests not staying at the Thayer Hotel may park in Highland Falls and walk to the hotel to access the shuttle. Ceremony: Out-of-town guests may depart the Thayer Hotel for the Cadet Chapel via shuttle at 1:35pm. Shuttles will also be available to transport guests back to the hotel at the conclusion of the ceremony. Reception: Guest shuttles will depart the Thayer Hotel for the West Point Club at 4:40pm and 5:00pm. They will also be available to return guests to the hotel at the conclusion of our reception, with one early shuttle departing at 9:00pm.

Question

What precautions are you taking in light of the COVID-19 pandemic? Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

We are committed to abiding by West Point post rules for hosting our event. To that end, we ask the following: 1. Out of respect for the high-risk family and friends in attendance, we ask that all of our guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to our wedding. To that end, our reception venue has requested documentation of vaccination from each of our guests. Please send Sam and/or Tommy a copy of your vaccination information as soon as possible. 2. Please plan to mask at each of our wedding events. We will have disposable masks available for those who need them.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. As much as we love the children in our lives, we will be unable to accommodate them due to space constraints. We hope you understand.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We ask that only the addressees on our invitations join us for our special day. We hope you understand.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please include any dietary restrictions with your RSVP.
