Wedding Party

Meet our H O M E ♥ T E A M! The ones who make us who we are.

Shiann Le Roy

Matron of Honor

Meet my younger sister, and best friend since birth! She's my daily phone call to work, laughs at all my jokes, she's my stylist, and encourager in all aspect of my life. She believes in me. And I seriously have the most fun just being in the same room as her! As kids she was the one I would giggle at the kitchen table with, always swapping closets, competing for America’s next top model, or singing to Dixie Chicks at the top of our lungs. As we got older, nothing has changed(and I love that). Talented, Reliable, dependable, and extremely kind- she's someone you dream to have by your side. She may be my little sister, but I look up to her for the amazing woman she is. She is a loving wife, and an even more amazing mother to two handsome boys, Walter and Bo. One day we'll be neighbors.

Jake Meidl

Best Man

Meet my oldest brother. Jake has been teaching me how to live since the day I was born. Smartest guy I know, and always has a better way to do things. Still my go to guy when I can't seem to figure something out. Always can count on him for a unicyle ride around the block. Married to Nicole Meidl (Kroehler), and the Father to 3 beautiful girls (Isabel, Victoria, and Eleanor). We love spending time with him and his family!

Paige McAdams

Bridesmaid

Meet my best friend, P. We decided to be instant friends since the first day in college at Winona State University college. I walked right into her college dorm room and introduced myself- and soon after came study sessions in the Smaug, dancing in the basement of college houses, sleepovers, and lots of bad decisions that came with lots of laughs. We lived in a house together our Sophomore year before Paige continued her education at Mayo clinic and became an outstanding nurse. Paige pushes me to be my very best and supports my dreams. Our friendship is rooted in faith and I always look to her for guidance. She's my spontaneous buddy pass traveler- and I look forward to more wild adventures together!

Matt Meidl

Best Man

Meet my little Brother Matt. Matt was one of the toughest kids I've ever met. He always loved to push my buttons growing up, but became one of my best friends as we matured. Matt and I lived together for 3 years, post college, in a house that we bought in 2017. There was a time in my life that I didn't go anywhere without inviting Matt along with me. From Vikings games to Mexico trips, there is no one I'd rather go out for a beer with.

Amy Oliver

Bridesmaid

Meet my best friend since 3rd grade at Malone Elementary. I remember the day she came into class and we got to put our tables together(we felt so cool)- you, me, and Katie Magee. Instant friends forever! She is an OG from Prescott, WI. All my favorite childhood memories include her. Playing survivor in her back yard, recording Destiny Child’s next music video, sitting in her butterfly chair talking about boys, or playing the Oregon Trail and pretending the futon was our buggy-- gosh, my childhood was so good because of her! She is a forever friend that would do anything for you! Lucky to have her still so present in my life!

Jack Pahl

Groomsman

Best friends since 1st grade. Jack has had this ability to make me laugh uncontrollably since the day I met him. He is the friend that everyone needs in their life. He would answer my call no matter what time of the day/night it is. Most cases these days he working and he answers with "is this an emergency?", but he'd be willing to drop anything if it was. Also, we're lucky enough to have our birthday's 1 day apart, through the years we have been successful in celebrating most of them together. It never really matters what we were doing, we always make the best of it.

Demi Augustine

Bridesmaid

Meet my awesome and empowering friend Demi! We have been friends since 6th grade when public and private school collided. Talks between classes outside the lockers led to sleepovers where we'd make chocolate chip pancakes and she would drag me to speed and strength. I'll always remember school dances, football games, and Myth nightclub nights. As we got older, she continued to push me to be the best version of myself. She encourages me in all aspects of life, always saying YES to my crazy ideas and jumping on a plane with me to celebrate life. I like to call her tequila Demi(I can't say no to her LOL). I am so proud of you for all you have accomplished! Thanks for being an amazing friend and hype girl!

Dillon Benz

Groomsman

Went to High School together but decided to wait till College to become great friends. Dillon is always willing to go above and beyond for his friends. He's also the only person I talk on the phone with daily. Whether it's about the stock market or his lawn, I hear about it! I was lucky enough to call him my roommate for 2 years of college and 2 years post college. We even decided to get jobs at the same company, still waiting for him to become CEO and take me along for the ride!

Katie Holznecht

Bridesmaid

Meet my forever friend, Katie! We have been close childhood friends since the 3rd grade. Katie always reminds me of home. As children we played school in her basement, had sleepovers on her trampoline (until we would wake up covered in misquote bites and would decide its time to go inside), and stayed up late talking about boys in the hot tub after a school dance. Once we got our license we'd get our daily cappuccino where she'd sit in the middle seat of the old Buick and we would ride around town. We found ourselves getting into the best kind of trouble in our later years. Katie now lives in Madison, WI and is a wonderful teacher to some very lucky kids! She's always a phone call away, and I look forward to our wine nights with a cheese board. Thank you for always being there for me!

Tommy Meidl

Groomsman

Meet my youngest brother. Tommy is always willing to have a good time. Ever since Tommy came into our lives he's loved to make people smile, a real people pleaser, just wait till you see him on the dance floor. Tom and I really enjoy going for rides on our electric unicycles (Jake likes to join as well). Tom is quite a bit crazier than me on that thing but I'm the only one to fall so far... the kids got some awesome skills! He's now out in LA trying to make his dreams come true, wish him luck on his journey!

Erika Hansen

Bridesmaid

Meet Erika! Gosh I loved this girl from the first time I met her on the first day of college in the Winona dorms. I went right up to her and introduced myself and the rest came natural! Instant friendship! Freshman year consisted of study nights in basement of Prentis, parties at her sisters or Steels house, borrowing her cute tops for our endless nights out, and belly laughs to the goofiest convos and weirdest dares. We lived together in our college houses for the next 3 years. Truly- she made my college experience EXTRA awesome! There isn't a wild story that doesn't include her and a bottle of Bartons(never again). She married our Somerset friend, Jordan Hansen, and we now share the same awesome last name(for now). She's an amazing friend and mother. And I truly look up to her! Love ya!

Paul Hansen

Groomsman

Meet Paul- or also known as PJ(Paul Joseph) when we were kids. He is my little brother, but towers over me in height. Bunk bed roomies, buckin' bronco survivor, and basketball P.I.G rival. We did everything together as kids. Twins games, four wheeling rides, bass fishing... life wouldn't be the same without him. Now he's our drinking buddy and late night campfire survivor. He always supportive, and down to celebrate life with us. He is family- but a a friend by choice. And hopefully future roomies!

Ariel Nelson

Bridesmaid

Meet Ariel Nelson, my flight attendant coworker turned instant best friend! I met Ariel when I first started flying for Delta on a long Baltimore layover. What. A. Night. And what a good/wild story! We instantly bonded for our girly loves and SATC life outlook. This beautiful Southern girl decided to come take on the winters with me in MN where we got our first apartment together in Bloomington, MN. A classy one bedroom with a white couch and lots of wine nights(I still will never know how we never spilt). I feel like I've known this girl forever. She's my monthly travel buddy. Vegas nights, Nashville nights, bike rides, hikes, shopping sprees, hour phone calls... this girl means so much. Thank you for experiencing life to the fullest with me!

Ty Sjoberg

Groomsman

Ty and I really hit it off in Kindergarten. I think I basically lived over at the Sjoberg's house growing up. We played on the same baseball team from 1st grade threw high school. These baseball seasons/tournaments are still my favorite childhood memories. Ty now lives out in Nebraska, so I don't get to see him as much as I would like, but when we get together it's like he never left.

Nikki Litke

Bridesmaid

Meet Nikki- my college friend and roomie for a year at our WILD 8th and Wilson home! Nikki holds a lot of my fun/crazy college stories. Always sticking up for me and teaching me the ropes(as well as cooking). She moved to Hawaii our sophomore year(lucky) after she got married to her soulmate. No distance or time unseen could keep us apart! We’ve forever stayed in touch. I look forward to our weekly phone calls and lovely layovers together. I reach out to her for grounded advice. She is a wonderful friend, mother, and wife! I look up to you girly!

Anthony Schulz

Groomsman

Anthony and I became great friends back in 7th grade basketball. I think between 7th-12th grade there wasn't many days after school that we didn't hang out. Anthony and I have lived together for about 4 years while growing into the "Men" we are today. 2 in St. Cloud, and 2 in St. Louis Park. Between the casino, xbox, pond hockey, backyard basketball, little caesars, Vikings/Wild games and so much more, we always had a blast.

Jessica Holstien

Bridesmaid

Meet my sweet friend Jess! I was lucky enough to meet her at Winona State University where we instantly became friends! Jess is one of the sweetest people I know and she has always given off such a positive light! We grew even closer when we lived together in our 10th and Harriet home. House parties, girl talks, movie nights, study sessions, Main Street bar adventures… Jess would always be down for any plan I came up with! Giving, patient, kind hearted, faith rooted- a giver of unconditional love. She spread her wings after college to continue her career in Cali where she met the love of her life and I always look forward to seeing her when she visits! Until then, I love our weekly phone calls, picking up right where we left off!

Dan Mahoney

Groomsman

Dan was lucky enough to have me as a 10th floor neighbor freshman year of college in St. Cloud. We both always got along really well, but didn't become great friends until sophomore year. He lived in this blue house that we always hung out at. We have so many great memories from college, cliff jumping at the quarry, getting the house parties started, pond hockey tournaments. We were pretty inseparable during out college years. Dan is now living out in Colorado with his wife Erika, and was nice enough to help me plan my proposal. He was the man behind the camera during our special time! Thanks again for that!

Julie Keeney

Bridesmaid

Meet Julie, my OG friend from Winona State University! How we met is a funny story… in short she literally picked me up from off the ground and the rest led to Prentis-Lucas late night study sessions in the basement, family dinners, tubing down the river, dorm dare nights, and wild evenings out exploring our new city! Julie filled every part of my college journey! Roomies at 8th and Wilson, roomies at 10th and Harriet- she was the life of the party! Always making me laugh and encouraging my faith. Till this day, Julie makes me belly laugh and is always showing up through all the stages of our lives! Love you Jules!

Mark Schmitz

Groomsman

Mark and I were on the same Baseball team a few times through out our stellar career. My favorite memory was our 15-0-1 season with Bobby (Mark's Dad) as the coach. Still think he shouldn't have sent Charlie on that sac fly... Mark and I have been great friends throughout the years and had countless college visits to St. Cloud and Duluth. After college we've been able to stay very close— playing softball, volleyball, and just going out to the bars. I'll always miss that apartment he had above Black Sheep Pizza. So many fun memories.

Isabel Meidl

Flower Girl

Niece of the groom, oldest daughter of Jake and Nicole Meidl, and big sister to Victoria and Eleanor. She's the sweetest little girl with the kindest heart and big blue eyes! She loves to sing the Frozen soundtrack, dance to any tune, and play with her barbies. You can find her swimming in grandma and grandpas pool any chance she gets(she's already advanced past floaties). She's a lover and will melt your heart with just a hug!

Matt Swenson

Groomsman

Swen and I have been able to stay close from kindergarten all the way into our lives today. I got pretty lucky and grew up down the street from Matt. We played night games, backyard basketball, backyard handball, backyard football, and any other backyard game we could make up. He's famous for always playing backyard bball in sandals... and still playing well! During our college years we always made sure to make a trip or 2 out to visit each other (Winona & St. Cloud). I had the pleasure of living with Swen for 2 years in St. Louis Park. Swen and I were always willing to go out and have a good time, most of the time bringing the party back to our place. We may have been a little loud for Antho and Dillon's liking, but damn those were some fun times!

Victoria Meidl

Flower Girl

Niece and Godchild of the groom, daughter of Jake and Nicole Meidl, and middle sissy of Isabel and Eleanor. She loves playing family with her dollies, reading books, eating frosting, and goofing around with her sisters. She can get anyone in the room to laugh! She's got uncle Sam wrapped around her finger. We can't say no to that cute face!

Pat Sheady

Usher

I've been good buddies with Sheady since about 4th grade when he moved to Crystal Lake Elementary. We've had some great times, but none better than when we lived together in St. Cloud. Waiting until the last possible moment to go downtown, "ahh we'll catch the next bus". We never really cared to socialize with others, we were more focused on eating the 25 cent tacos at the press, $1 drinks at Brothers, tossing around the free peanuts at Cowboys, or slugging down a couple Dirty Buffalo's at MC's Dugout. I'll always miss but will never want to relive our Cloud days. Love you man.

Mark Hansen

Father of the Bride

My very first memory as a child is on the my dads shoulders going through the woods on an adventure. My next memory is singing “Fishing in the Dark” going up to the cabin in the front seat of truck. I am so thankful for my dads active and presence in my life all through the years. He always made my sports games. He always comes to the rescue when I need help fixing something. He’s provided and given us such a great life. I’m so thankful for his daily teachings, guidance, hard work ethic, love, and support through all the stages of my life! Love you dad!

Bobby Le Roy

Usher

Brother-in-law of the bride, married to Shiann Le Roy. Bob's got the best one liners in the whole Midwest! He'll make you laugh when you don't even think it's possible. A true family man, always supporting his 2 boys in either a wrestling match or engineering lesson. Happy to have him a part of our family! Father of Walt man and Bo Bo.

Lisa Hansen

Mother of the Bride

Meet my beautiful mother! At a very young age she taught me the importance of kindness, faith, family, and drive to follow your dreams. She actively played, sang, and taught me all I needed to know. She is such a role model to me and I look forward to our daily phone calls. I look up to her in every aspect and I hope one day I can be as good of a mom as she is! Always there when anyone needs a smile, hug, or prayer. Love you to the moon and back!

Walter Le Roy

Ring Bearer

Meet Walt man! Nephew and Godchild of the bride. He is the son of Shiann and Bobby Le Roy and big brother to little Bo. He will absolutely steal your heart! He loves adventure, fishing, Pokemon, wrestling, bugs, and sugar. He can be found at the cabin digging in the dirt for bugs(to come and scare his auntie with), showing and educating all about his cool lures in his tackle box, or playing with his pup Remi by his side. He's a great kid, and we love having him over for his weekly visit to auntie Sammy's house.

Pete Meidl

Father of the Groom

Meet my Dad. He has always been there for me, making sure to make it to as many of my sporting events as he could to cheer me on or be my coach. I'll always cherish the advice I've gotten from you through out the years, and I can't imagine a better, more fun, role model. One thing that has always stuck with me, "A committed relationship is a choice, it's not always going to be easy. In order to be successful it takes a lot of hard work, and you need to wake up and make that same choice every single day". Love you Dad!

Laurie Meidl

Mother of the Groom

Meet my Mom. She is the most kind hearted and caring individual I have ever met. There has never been a doubt in my mind that she would do anything for me. I can't imagine having to raise 4 boys, with our crazy sports schedules, and my unwillingness to do homework. You're an absolute trooper and I would not be where I am today without you! Thank you for all you sacrificed to help me succeed! I love you Ma!
