On March 31st, 2018 our paths crossed at an local bar called Uptown Tavern. Our friend Kosa pulled the old "Sam have you met Sam?". We talked for hours and shared some stories before heading over to the new bar in uptown, The Pourhouse. Not necessarily our scene but I'll always remember, after walking out of the restroom Sam said "I wasn't really sure how long I was supposed to wash my hands waiting for the pretty girl to come out". Blushed cheeks, and an instant connection. We exchanged numbers and started forever texting the next day...

On April 13th, 2018 we found ourselves with butterflies locking eyes at the West End sushi restaurant, Crave. We ordered $100 worth of sushi and finished maybe one roll. Not for the lack of food quality, but for the quality of conversation combined with nerves. At the end of dinner we nervously tried to play it cool and ask if we had any plans for the rest of the night… we (very giddy) decided to continue our date and jumped into a cab together and headed over to Uptown. We found ourselves caught in a WILD snowstorm. I’ll never forget that night… wearing open toed heels trying to hike through the snow and Sam literally swept me of my feet. The hopeless romantic in me was instantly smitten. We always say our first date lasted 3 days... The first day it was Crave. The second day both groups of our friends just happen to be having a day drinking get together in Uptown and we ended up connecting. And the third day he pushed my 2007 Saturn Ion and I out of the snow. Couldn't get enough of him!

On February 1st, 2020 we decided to move in together in the house Sam owned with his brother Matt (along 3 other guys) to save up for our dream home. It was not an easy decision, but we knew this would set us up for a successful future. Of course as you all know, Covid was just around the corner... To say it was tough living with 4 guys in a 2500 sq foot house during the Covid shutdown is an understatement, but we passed this test with flying colors and were able to save up for our first home! We will forever be grateful for the memories we made!

A 1.5 story 1950's home with a lot of charm. Located in a neighborhood in Richfield, MN we had found 2 years prior. We had always dreamed of finding a home we loved in that neighborhood, and our prayers were answered on January 15th, 2021 when we bought our first home together!!! With rounded entryways, old wood floors, a wood burning fireplace, and a cozy loft—it was perfect—for us! We can't wait to host for the holidays, have backyard bonfires, play late night basketball games outside the garage, and fill our walls with pictures of all our travels!

On March 12th, 2021 Sam got on one knee on the top of a mountain in Colorado (Saint Mary's Glacier) and asked Sammy to spend forever with him. With happy tears in her eyes- she said YES!!!!!! Thanks to a bunch of help from the Mahoney's, we were able to capture this amazing memory on Video. We still get emotional every time we watch it! We spent 5 days stuck in Denver, CO from an epic snowstorm. Those 5 days were spent celebrating with champagne, Facetime calls to family and friends, and lots of "OH MY GOSH-- we're engaged!!!!!" So incredibly thankful that we get to spend forever together!!! This is just the beginning!
