When should I RSVP by?

Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you arrive by 4pm for the 4:30pm ceremony. This will allow you to have time to park. We recommend carpooling if possible, since parking space is somewhat limited.

Yes! You can check out our registry on the Registry section at the top.
Question
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! Most parking spots will be across the street, on the grass (along the fence line) at 141 Blundell Hollow Road. We'll have signs and someone out there helping direct you in the right direction. *This is just for Saturday. On Friday, you can park at Indigo House.*

Is there transportation to and from ceremony/reception?
Answer
Unfortunately, transportation to/from Indigo House will not be provided. You will need to provide your own transportation for the weekend. We also recommend not relying on car services like Uber. From what we've heard, you might be able to get a ride out to the area, however getting one back is very unlikely. If you need help working out transportation and let us know enough in advance, we'll do what we can to help.

Can I bring a date and/or are kids welcome?

Our wedding is a small, intimate celebration. Please only RSVP for yourself and/or those who are named on the invitation. If you're unsure or have questions, let us know.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is cocktail attire. Please remember that the ceremony and reception will be taking place outside. We recommend bringing a wrap or a coat for the evening when it cools off. Also, if you plan to wear heels we highly recommend bringing shoes to change into for dancing!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors, both on the Indigo House property. The reception area for dinner is tented.
Question
What will the weather be like?
Answer
In October in the Virginia mountains, the weather during the day can range anywhere from the mid-50s to the mid-70s. During the evening and night, it can drop as low as the low-40s. Please make sure to check the weather for the weekend and pack accordingly. Weather permitting, we'll have a bonfire. Plus, we'll be dancing enough that the cool mountain air will feel good!
