Man of Honor
If the bride is supposed to choose their best friend for this honorable role, then Ian is the perfect fit. Friends since high school, honestly can’t remember how they met, but always know he’s there and will be there. Ian is the constant, no matter where life takes either. He’s that friend where everything can just pick back up as if no time passed. And is not afraid to call her out on her BS. A true best friend.
Bridesmaid
Sister from another mister! Courtni became a part of the brides family in the early 2000’s, and that family has refused to let her go. As someone who has been there through the good, bad and everything in between with the bride, Sam couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side.
Bridesmaid
Ashley is the oldest niece of the groom (who also has 1 nephew, and 1 more niece). When she met the bride, she was just happy to get another girl in the family. By the time this wedding takes place, that bubbly 10 year old had grown into a bubbly college student, which makes this couple feel really old.
Best Man
As the older brother, Charles has known the groom his whole life. He has liked him for most of it. An avid Caps fan, the bride (a Red Wings fan) and Charles had a custody battle for Jonathans hockey allegiance. The bride won. Obviously.
Groomsman
Frank has been the grooms best friend and original bad influence since 5th grade. He has been there for many, if not of all, of Jonathan’s firsts, including the first to know Jonathan feelings for the bride. Sam is actually convinced if it weren’t for her, and Franks wife, he would be Jonathan’s soul mate.
Groomsman
Cam is the oldest nephew of the bride (who has 5 more nephews and 2 nieces). While the bride was already his favorite aunt, when Cam met Jon and found out he was also an avid gamer and lover of Japanese culture, he became the favorite uncle. This whole wedding thing is just a formality for him and his brothers.
Flower Dude
Everyone has that one friend who you can’t find one morning, then he turns up on a random roof with a little pink ukulele, missing one of his pant legs, with a random pile of dresses and none of that is weird. Adam is that friend for the bride. And if you don’t have that friend you should, they definitely make your life better.
Officiant
As the mind behind Brewism, Ray was the obvious choice as Officiate. The bride met Ray in college during a creative writing class. While critiquing one of his pieces, she told him that he was either a heartless bastard, or really liked cheez-its. She was correct about one, and they’ve been great friends since.
