City park in Minneapolis that features a 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, and river overlooks. Sam and Elie love to visit the falls with friends and family over the summer.
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory
A free zoo and conservatory in St. Paul. Elie and Sam got engaged here on September 13th, 2025, when Sam proposed in the Japanese Gardens.
Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
Free sculpture garden near the Walker Art Museum. Features the famous "Spoonbridge and Cherry" sculpture, a well-known landmark in the city.
Lake Bde Maka Ska
The largest lake in Minneapolis. It is surrounded by parks and circled by walking trails. Elie and Sam love to walk around the lake.
Mall of America®
The largest shopping mall in the US. MOA has more than 520 stores, 60 restaurants, indoor amusement park, Aquarium, and so much more! Located near the airport and 15 minutes from downtown.
Guthrie Theater
Sam and Elie are proud supporters of the Guthrie Theater. This year, we got season tickets. During our wedding weekend, the Guthrie Theater is putting on Come From Away & Private Lives. Come From Away will be closing this weekend. Get your tickets ASAP!
University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Sam and Elie enjoy exploring the 3-mile trail and all the unique gardens at the Landscape Arboretum. Make sure to say hi to all of the koi at the koi pond.
Paisley Park
Paisley Park is a 65,000-square-foot estate in Chanhassen once owned by American musician Prince. It was opened to the public as a museum in October 2016.

Brewery and restaurant located on the Mississippi River, walking distance of Elie and Sam's apartment. They have a large taproom and lots of outdoor seating!

Elie's mom Connie's favorite restaurant to visit in Minneapolis. They have delicious food perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner! Make sure to stop by the bakery for dessert. Connie loves the Gluten Free, Dairy Free "Rose Cake".

A favorite brunch spot! This place is always busy, so make a reservation if you can. Delicious food, and you can't go wrong with their GDC potatoes!

Delicious sushi and Tibetan food in Edina. They have an awesome lunch special.
