These two days, if you choose to fly in early, will be for your leisure. The wedding couple will be coming in early to prepare for the wedding. If you choose to come early, you can choose to join the couple who will be staying in downtown Vancouver Saturday night (11/02/2024) and moving to the Harrison Hot Springs area Sunday morning (11/03/2024) to be closer to Fraser River Lodge (the wedding venue).

Wedding Day Room Check-in

This is for those who would like to stay on-site at the Fraser River Lodge (wedding location). There will only be 8 rooms available for the night of the wedding (11/04/24) reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis based off of RSVP date. Check-in will be at 2pm at the lodge. Cost per room is $275 CAD ($204 USD) per night and all rooms can sleep up to 3 guests. There will be other accommodations on-site, such as a family style lodge that can sleep up to 5 people. Please contact Elaine/Sam if you have any questions about other options.
Our Ceremony
3:00 pm
Attire: Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. We ask to please refrain from wearing jeans or yoga leggings.
The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please choose your footwear accordingly (walking on grass and temperatures will be around 30-40 degrees). Also, don't forget to bring a jacket or sweater to keep warm.
Cocktail Hour
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
There will be a few light bites and cocktails.
Reception Dinner
6:00 pm
There will be a mix of non-vegetarian and vegetarian for the reception dinner in a buffet style, along with other sides and desserts. So come hungry!

Check-Out Day After Wedding
8:00 am - 10:00 am
Guests must check out of Fraser River Lodge by 10:00am. Feel free to check out earlier if you would like to get a head start to Vancouver, which is closer to airport and other popular activities. The wedding couple will be heading to Vancouver.
Check-In to Hotel in Vancouver
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
The couple will be staying at Paradox Hotel or JW Marriott Parq in downtown Vancouver. The group rates for each hotel will be listed in the Travel section.
Capilano Suspension Bridge
3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The Capilano Suspense Bridge is a fun experience for all! This is the most popular attraction in Vancouver. Stretching 137m (450ft), this historic crossing takes you from manicured gardens adorning First Nations totem polls to the natural tranquility of temperate rainforest.
