Things To Do

Here are some of our favorite bars and restaurants! We would make recommendations for a good Bloody Mary and cheese curds, but you'll find amazing ones anywhere :)

Mad Rooster Cafe

4401 West Greenfield Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53214

Cherise's FAVORITE brunch place! Her go-to is the Crispy-Crunchy Cinnamon French Toast with a side of Baby Red's Potatoes, Sam's is the Eggs Benedict!

Bryant's Cocktail Lounge

1579 South 9th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204

This is the oldest (non-hotel) cocktail bar in the country, and is one of Sam's favorite places to stop while home! They offer over 140 cocktails and have the full cocktail-ordering experience.

Lakefront Brewery

1872 North Commerce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212

They have the (genuinely) world's best Dunkel beer, and plenty of other great ones! Try to catch a tour with the McMahon-Family's own Katie Brozovich.

Wolski's Tavern

1836 North Pulaski Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

The penultimate Wisconsin Dive-Bar. You'll find "I CLOSED WOLSKI'S" bumper stickers all over the world. Cherise has found them while on ski lifts in Colorado!

Stack'd Burger Bar

170 South 1st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204

A good-enough burger place in Downtown Milwaukee. Vibes are solid, and Cherise and Sam had their first official date here!

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

(For our Cincinnati friends) Similar to Cincy's own Findlay Market, but all indoors since Wisconsin is cold! Super fun to walk around or take cooking classes.
