FAQs

Question

What time do I need to be at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Please try to arrive and be in your seats by 4:20pm :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony, so please bring a shawl as Wisconsin may be a bit chilly, and wear shoes that can walk on grass comfortably! Our wedding theme is a Garden Party, so we would love to see you in your Spring-y colors :)

Question

Can I take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

No, but we appreciate your excitement! We want to look out and see everyone's faces rather than their phones, and we want to see your faces in our photos, too! We completely trust our photographer to capture the day for us, and we'll be sure to share our photos with whoever wants them. If you're eager to have some, don't hesitate to ask!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! If your children are invited, they should be addressed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Sam or Cherise!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at the Milwaukee Marriott West! The "Travel" tab has our link for reservations. Our room block is available until April 2nd.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We are shuttling everyone from the Milwaukee Marriott West hotel. Please see the "Travel" tab for the schedule!

Question

What do I do if there are no hotel rooms available in your block?

Answer

If it is before April 2nd, please tell Cherise or Sam and they'll request more! Marriott only allocates so many rooms at a time. If it is after April 2nd, our room block has expired. We encourage you to get a normal room at the hotel to use the shuttle, though!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, our venue has a parking lot! You can also leave your car overnight until 9am the next day, need be.

Question

What kind of food are you having?

Answer

There will be several hors d'oeuvres served during Cocktail Hour and there will be a buffet for dinner. Dinner entree options include pasta, chicken, and beef. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please include that on your RSVP. If you forgot to, please tell Cherise or Sam!

Question

My question isn't here?!

Answer

Feel free to text Sam or Cherise and they'll be happy to help you :)
