Flower Girl
Willow found Sam in January 2012. It was a match made in heaven (apart from various surgeries, a car accident, etc). Although she is missing part of a leg, that has never stopped her from begging, running after small fluffy tree-dwellers, and licking the shit out of Caleb's face. Willow was Sam's first true love and the "writer" of the proposal letter she was given on that fateful Christmas Day. Willow wants to thank everyone for coming and petting her and also wants to say that she loves Mama, Papa, chicken, peanut butter, squirrels, and not exercising.
Ring Bearer
Solovino (aka Solo, aka Bad-Dog) was first spotted by Sam on Instagram (because she follows too many rescues and can often be found crying over her phone on a regular basis). Solovino stood out as a very special one for Caleb however and after making the long trip all the way to Orange County (quite a drive considering Caleb's dislike of LA travel) they knew it was love. He is a special boy who may not have full bladder control but most definitely has a full heart. Solo wants to ask that no one grab his paws, although he is a fan of a warm lap. And that he won't turn down a treat or the opportunity to lick anyone's toes.
Bouquet
The newest addition to our wedding party. We can't say nothing good came out of covid and pushing our wedding, because Trudy is a big silver lining to 2020. We originally fostered her from the same rescue Sam got Willow, but when we thought about having to say goodbye to her, we just couldn't do it. So, now we have a full pack of ferocious protectors. Trudy requests that all guests refrain from looking at Sam, talking to Sam, getting close to Sam and certainly absolutely no touching of Sam. But, hot dogs and petting is very much welcome.
