Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

ASAP please! But May 1st will be a pretty solid deadline for this basically destination wedding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Will there be food/drink/bathroom?

Answer

The site will be ready as early as 5pm (30 min prior to the wedding). Dinner will follow at 7pm so we won't have food at the ceremony site but there will be champagne to enjoy. And yes, there will be a guest-ready bathroom.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We love each one of our guests so much and since it's a smaller sized wedding, we ask that only those specifically invited attend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Nope! We will set up some carpooling and park at the Ellis residence for the ceremony. Then, the reception will be in downtown Salida.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As we are hosting a small wedding, only specifically invited children are included in our guest list. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

YES! The wedding is only the kick-off event in a week of fun. If you check out the schedules page, you will see all the fun stuff we want to do after the wedding! And if you're not into those exactly, we will just be in and around town for the next week to eat, drink, and be MARRIED (see what I did there?).

I love alcohol. Where do I get the good stuff?

Answer

For a town with only one taxi, it has a shit ton of good liquor stores, wineries, and breweries. See "Things To Do" for those specifics.

Does Salida, CO have Uber/Lyft/Taxies?

Answer

Weirdly, no. The town (at the time of creating this page) has one taxi, Rocky Mtn Taxi. (719) 966-2005. See "Travel: Rental Cars".
