What's Kansas City without some barbecue? Although you can find many, many, MANY places to go, this is THE spot. Originally known as Oklahoma Joe's, this place has been featured by many famous chefs such Adam Carolla, Guy Fieri and the late, great Anthony Bourdain. There are a few different locations but this original gas station spot has all the charm. You won't be disappointed.
Kansas City Zoo
Kansas City Zoo houses an impressive amount of animals for its size. Say hi to Sam's favorite animal- the sloth- or Becca's favorite- the elephants!

Yes, we have Topgolf, the high tech golfing experience that's sweeping the nation. Whether or not you are a golfer, it's a fun time- it's pretty much the new bowling.
The Granfalloon Restaurant And Bar
One of Becca and Sam's favorite spots in the Plaza, it's a great place to get lunch while watching your favorite sports team. We highly recommend the burnt ends grilled cheese.
Kauffman Stadium
If you have the time, check out World Series Champs, the Royals! For all the Cardinals fans out there, that may be a no-no, but hey, if you love the game, you love the game.
Harry's Bar & Tables
The stuff of memories. You could often find Sam and Becca here with friends, either together or separately. And of course, their Horsefeathers are the subject of many conversations between Sam and his friends. We recommend going in the late afternoon or early evening as the Westport area gets busy at night.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
For our cultured friends and family, the Nelson-Atkins Museum is right up your alley. There is an impressive amount of art work, both moderate and classic; plus, you can grab some Insta-worthy pictures in the front lawn with Kansas City's famous shuttlecocks (sorry, that's just what they're called).

If are you are looking for a quick bite paired with some local beers, Becca's family owns and operates this taproom in the Brookside area. They have a variety of appetizers and flatbreads, and if you are looking to take some Kansas City brews back with you, they are connected to a liquor store!
