Flight
Direct flights between Seattle and London Heathrow (LHR) run multiple times per day on several airlines. My favorite airline to flight direct with is British Airways - the staff is wonderful. Virgin Atlantic and Delta are great as well.
Train
While LHR is the largest airport in the UK, it's a bit of a trek from there to Brighton. You'll have to take the Underground into the center of London and then catch a train from a central station south to Brighton. This journey takes roughly 2.5 hours and includes at least one changeover. Another option is a coach bus (National Express) from LHR to Brighton, which takes a bit longer but doesn't require you to make any changes. To find train or coach bus journeys, click the button below and put From: "Heathrow Airport [Terminal X]" (likely Terminal 3 for international flights) and To: "Brighton, City Centre".
Flight
London Gatwick (LGW) is a smaller airport and doesn't offer any direct flights to Seattle. However, it's much closer to Brighton (1 hour on the train). Depending on your travel preferences, this may be more convenient for you. Our favorite flights between Seattle and LGW are on Icelandair and Aer Lingus. Both offer layovers in Reykjavík and Dublin, respectively. If you fly with Aer Lingus, you cross the US border in Ireland and land in Seattle as if you were on a domestic flight, which reduces travel hassle. If you were thinking about taking a detour to see some outside of the UK, this might be a fun option for you.
Train
It's about an hour on the train directly from LGW to Brighton. To find train journeys, click the button below and put From: "Gatwick Airport" and To: "Brighton, City Centre".
Travel Note
Driving to Brighton is also doable and easy. Travel south on the M25 around London taking the M23 and A23 and follow signs for Brighton. However, driving around Brighton itself can be difficult and parking can be expensive, so if driving, try to find a hotel or AirBnb with parking. Once in Brighton, you will not need a car to travel around the city.

Travel Note
With Brighton & Hove being a major UK tourist destination, there are a plethora of decent hotels and bed & breakfasts at varying prices. If you're looking for BnBs, we recommend the Kemptown area of Brighton as it is in walking distance to both of the venues. Anywhere near central Brighton is a good place to stay. Hotels can be found all over, especially on the seafront. More upmarket hotels include The Grand, the Brighton Metropole and Drakes Hotel. Budget-friendly options include Premier Inn, Travelodge and Holiday Inn. Anything else can be found in between! Click the button to view a list of hotel options.
