Matron of Honor
Jess is my older sister and practical twin. We've shared a lot over the years, but I must say having a room to myself is pretty strange! She is a ball of energy and always chatting with someone. She enjoys chocolate and great laughs. Can't wait to see you again!
Bridesmaid
Rose was my honorary roommate for 2 years at Houghton and finally my actual roommate our senior year. We love sharing memes, laughing, hanging out, and going on adventures together. Now we are both getting married!! She is so encouraging and caring to others around her and I love texting and visiting with her. Sure am going to miss her a bunch when I move to Missouri and she's in New York!
Bridesmaid
This is my best friend Bri. The earliest memory I have with her is making our kickballs play jump rope together on the playground in 4th or 5th grade and the rest is history. We've been to Disney World twice and survived middle school and high school together and college too (just not the same one). Though we were in separate states I still managed to visit often. Wait till you hear her laugh!
Bridesmaid
Vicki and I have been around each other since freshman year of college, but didn't become the bestest of buds till end of Sophomore year. She is my ray of sunshine. And I say that because she helped me get through some really hard times (education majors really do got it rough). Her smile and laugh and personality are just the best and I love this girl tons.
Best Man
Chessor and I have known eachother since gradeschool basically. So many stories. All the stories. We got the stories. He is someone I know that will always be there for me no matter what. So about those stories. Offer him a minute and he can tell you about the road trips we took together to the cruise and everything else. We both figured out life together as brothers against the world and I would not want it any other way. Should ask him about those TippyToes and Flipper nicknames when we played baseball.
Groomsman
JD and I meet in high school. It was his senior year and he was off to the marines. Skip ahead 6 years and he returns. We finally get together and talk about Hickman County. Come to find out his family was the one that used to mow the lawns at my grandparents house when I was growing up. Such a small world we live in. He is someone that will tell you to your face the blunt truth of things. I respect that and his responses to the worldly things.
Groomsman
Benjamin and I meet when his father came to preach at the Church I was attending. My earliest memory of him and I are playing Halo 3 when it came out. It was my first Halo game and he had played the earlier ones. As we were going through High School and onward he has always put himself to knownledge trying to learn as much as he could. He is someone I go to when I have a question about theology.
Groomsman
Johnny is Benjamin's younger brother so we meet the same way. As I would go over to Benjamin's to play video games. I would remember this young man being full of himself in these games and having to put him in his two shoes. XD. Anyway Johnny and I are very similar in a lot of ways from personality to even our Blood Type. We call ourselves the B Negative Brothers.
Flower Girl
Jordyn is a young girl from my church that I had the wonderful chance to babysit over the summer. She is so fun to talk to and a pleasure to be around!
Ring Bearer
Zach is Jordyn's younger brother who I also met through church and got to babysit over the summer. He can be a little shy at first, but he's fun to make jokes with and share a laugh!
Officiant
James is a close friend of mine that I made at Houghton. We shared many jokes, tons of memes, and even did a weird fast together (and survived!). He's the Ron Swanson to my Leslie Knope. He's the biggest book nerd I know and is the only person I know to know this much about Jesus/the Bible (they sacrificed sand in the wilderness, right?) So excited to be his first wedding he gets to be apart in officiating and for you all to meet him!
Groomsman
Noah and I meet at his sister's wedding. The bridezilla was ongoing about starbucks and such with her bridesmaids. This dude straight up just walks up and sits with us. I was like respect my dude respect. He hung out with us groomsmen from there onward he was part of the group. Excited to call him my Cupcake (and brother in-law) forever! Noah is my little brother and a best friend. From playing cars with him when his 2 other sisters said no (even though it was only for 5 minutes before we played with my toys) to working the same job, he's my ride or die (as they say) and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He gets me when it feels like everyone around me is clueless. Plus, we've got all the inside jokes and I'm officially the favorite sister! Hope I picked a great brother for you.
