❤︎ How it started We met on a dating app and had our first date at an arts and crafts bar. Since that night, despite busy schedules, we made time every weekend to be together. - We adopted two kittens A friend rescued a mama cat and her kittens and needed homes. We adopted two so they'd always have each other. Chak named them after Japanese food: Kombu (seaweed) and Shirasu (baby sardine). - First trip to Japan Chak visited Japan over the holidays and met Saki's family. She took him on a tour of her childhood stomping grounds. - Engagement On a hike through White Pocket in Arizona, Chak suggested they stop for a selfie. What Saki didn’t know was that he was recording the whole thing. (She said yes.) - And the adventure continues... With Chak finishing residency training and starting his new job, we moved in together in downtown Dallas. We cannot wait to celebrate with family and friends in San Diego, where Chak grew up! ❤︎
