Update Regarding CDC's Covid Testing Requirements

Answer

Royalton Resorts is providing on-site Covid-19 viral tests for guests traveling by air from the United States. The viral testing will be carried out by a medical professional in a designated area of the resort and we strongly encourage guests to schedule their appointment upon arrival to the property through the Guest Services team. Test results will be available the same day and will be delivered to the guest’s room or available at the front desk.

What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico. Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel, you can find specific requirements here. If in doubt, please get in touch with your local Mexican embassy.

What time is check-in and check-out at Royalton Riviera Cancún?

Answer

Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as they will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best. Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

Day Passes and Visiting Guests

Answer

If you do not stay at the resort you must purchase a “Day Pass” ($80 per day) to enter the hotel and attend our events. These passes are valid for a maximum of 8 hours and states you can arrive up to one (1) hour prior to event and should leave directly following its conclusion. We highly recommend that you book through our room block link and stay at the resort to avoid this $80 per person/per day fee. If you are planning to stay outside of the resort please let us know so we can help coordinate the pass in advance for you.
