Our relationship is proof that the universe truly works in mysterious ways. We are one of the few couples who can say that we had two first-dates. When we had our first date, both of us were in transitionary periods of our lives and didn't think much of our encounter. We both walked away with our interests piqued but were taken by the current of time in different directions. A little over a year after that first chance meeting, our paths crossed again. This time, the stars were aligned. A second first-date quickly led to our first second-date which led to the beginning of the rest of our lives.
