What started as a friendship of convenience quickly became the friendship of a lifetime! Sadie and Rosie met at the formative age of 11, quickly bonding over being sassy weirdos and chirping their teachers. Fast forward through hundreds of rides home scream-singing Les Mis, thousands of Sonic grilled cheeses, and too many instances of saying the same thing at the same time to count, an unbreakable friendship was formed. During the short lived long distance era of their friendship, Stefan entered the picture. Then, on a cosmically aligned trip to London to visit Sadie, Rosie and Stefan met, took approximately 1 million selfies, and fell in love too (in a friend way). Now Rosie, ever the third wheel, is delighted to be serving as Maid of Honor for what is sure to be a kick-ass wedding! See y’all on the dance floor!

Emma and Sadie have been friends for well over a decade. While there is proof of them being connected back in early childhood (small town living, am I right?), they didn’t really become friends until high school. The original connection was of course the theatre, but their bond was truly built on a love of fantasy, corny pop covers, and cheesy movies. They have survived road trips, seen many many shows, and attended an incalculable amount of parties together. There is truly no one who would be a better partner to Sadie than Stefan. He is patient and caring of her many needs, while also admiring her many strengths. Their marriage will be like their wedding: an unforgettable and awesome party.

Forged long ago one chilly Chicago night outside of a turtle racing bar, Alec has a friendship with both Sadie and Stefan that has endured nearly a decade of Civilization games, fantasy football rivalries, and general shenanigans. Nowadays he spends most of his time losing trading card games to Stefan but looks forward to many more years of friendship (and maybe a win or two if he can manage it).

Laurena met Sadie when they were eleven, at the worst time: middle school. Laurena was immediately enamored by Sadie and the sheer amount of shoelaces she had adorning her - on her shoes, her arms, various clothing items. It quickly became clear throughout middle school that one day Laurena would witness one of the greatest love stories of all time: the one between Sadie and Rosie. Although this wedding is not between Sadie and Rosie, Laurena could not be more thrilled to stand with Sadie and Stefan while they show their love. Laurena lives in Oregon with her wife, her perfect angel dog, and her equally perfect half cat/half demon.

Ryan and Stefan met freshman year at Drexel University, and became close friends after Ryan decided he could no longer cut it as an engineer and switched his major to political science. After that Ryan and Stefan scheduled most of their classes together, where Stefan bested Ryan by a few points on every single assignment for the rest of their time in school. The friendly rivalry in the classroom and the friendship outside of it led to many memories that will not soon be forgotten. Now they live in two different cities but keep the friendship alive with their shared love of sports, collecting cards, and banter.

Emily had the pleasure of meeting Sadie and, shortly after, Stefan in the dorms their first semester at Ithaca College. Sadie and Emily ended up becoming neighbors the year after, their friendship blooming in the James Street apartments. They connected over shared humor, life experiences, and similar world views. After many weeknight hangouts in Sadie's basement bungalow they decided to share a flat during a semester abroad in London, and Stefan flew all the way to their tiny 30 Leinster Terrace flat to see Sadie. Emily obviously taunted them by singing "Sadie and Stefan, sitting in a tree!" as many times as she could. Emily is so thrilled to have witnessed the budding of Sadie and Stefan's romance, and is even more thrilled to party with them as a bridesmaid in their wedding.

Any time with Stefan is a great time and I couldn’t be happier he found his better half in Sadie. I'm honored to be a part of this celebration, New Orleans will never be the same after this wedding.

Brandon has been one of Sadie’s besties since college. He was adopted by her family during graduation week, when his parents were delayed traveling from Sri Lanka. Since then, he’s moved to Chicago on her advice/insistence, crashing with her and Stefan while figuring logistics out. They now bridge the distance of their friendship (Chicago is a big city) with the occasional paragraphs long texts about life, love, anime, and pets being weird.

Matt and Stefan met on an infamous night (for his brother Ryan at least) when Matt was a senior in high school and Stefan was a sophomore at Drexel. Way back in 2014, when the drinking age was 18, Matt (definitely of drinking age) was visiting Drexel for a weekend and the boys were invited to a Toga party. Before the night even got started a gentleman by the name of Sven chugged an entire bottle of vodka, and shortly after Ryan took him to the hospital when we realized he couldn’t walk anymore and maybe soiled his Toga. Never fear, Matt and Stefan absolutely did not let this ruin their night. They battled through the streets of Rome and made it to the Toga party, where they had the time of their lives getting to know each other (again, definitely of age). Since then, they have stayed in touch through winning countless championships for the city of Boston and keeping everyone on their toes in the group chat.

Logan is Sadie's brother, her first partner in crime and adventure. Two years younger, Logan spent his first several Halloweens insisting on matching Sadie in her princess and ballerina costumes, easily upstaging her as the cutest one. Together with Zach, they founded innumerable summer businesses, sibling bands, and entertained themselves carving out mud slides and snow caves, fighting and laughing in equal measure. Though Logan now towers over her, he will always be her little brother.

Flower Girl
Zachary is Sadie's brother and shares her love of stories. They spent many, many summer days running through the woods around their home with homemade swords and bows and arrows, bravely protecting Middle Earth from any wayward llamas. No ditches remained unexplored on their watch. Zach is now very proud to be the prettiest flower girl, and can't wait to pester Stefan for years to come.
