Once upon a time, many moons ago, Sadie and Stefan fell in love. Both were mere freshman, bright eyed and bushy tailed and far too busy indulging in the irresponsibilities of college to have any interest in a relationship. Devastatingly, despite their best efforts they kinda sorta maybe had a crush on each other. Neither planned to find their person so young though. Both admitted they knew they'd one day end up married long before they ever even began dating. Neither were the type to say such things, but when you know, you know. Courting ensued though Stefan was attending school in Philadelphia while Sadie was in Ithaca, NY, and in January 2016 they went separate ways when Sadie moved to London for a semester. A few months later though Stefan, very romantically, flew to London to profess his love and on March 22, 2016 the two began dating. Sadie flew back and moved in with Stefan for a summer in Philly in June 2016, and then together they survived senior year of college dating long-distance. Nothing forges everlasting love like 12 hours on a bus every month. After graduating Sadie and Stefan signed a lease in Chicago together, and in June 2017 moved into their first apartment. Stefan had never once set foot in Chicago before uprooting his life, talk about a leap of faith. Now, 10 years after they first met, over 8 years of living together, 3 apartments, 1 condo, 1 dog, 2 cats, and over 2 years engaged, Sadie and Stefan are finally ready to walk down the aisle. They've known for nearly a decade this day would come, and are overjoyed to celebrate it with all of you!
