BCN Airport: Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport

We would recommend flying into the main airport in Barcelona, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). It is about 15 km (yep, kilometers, welcome to Europe!) from the hotel area. You can get to the hotel by taxi (about 20-30 minutes) or public transit (about 30-40 minutes). We have taken and would recommend the Aerobus that is located outside of baggage claim and takes you to Plaça de Catalunya. From there, depending on what hotel you choose to stay at, it should be a 10-15 minute walk (or a short metro ride) to your hotel.

Below you will find some suggested hotels in Barcelona. Most hotels in the area are more boutique hotels that have 20-70 rooms. Unfortunately, hotel room blocks and discount codes are not commonly found in Barcelona. Feel free to book a hotel not on this list or book an Airbnb- there are plenty of options in the area! We recommend staying a few blocks from La Pedrera as it will be a short walk to the bus pick up area the day of the wedding, welcome drinks, and is a very safe area of the city. Below you can find a map hyperlinked of the recommended hotels if you're more of a visual learner or would like a visual aid.

This is where Peter and Sabrina are staying while in Barcelona. When they visited Barcelona last year, they fell in love with the staff and ambiance of the rooftop terrace. There is limited availability at this hotel as it has about 70 rooms, but if there are still rooms available and you feel so inclined, we would love for you to join us here!
