Rylee has known Courtney longer she can remember. They first crossed paths in 4th grade and have been joined at the hip ever since, even from across states. Courtney is Rylee's Matron of Honor and has supported her through everything from school drama to major life changes. Rylee was so proud to stand next to Courtney for her wedding to Jacob in November 2024 and is honored to have Courtney stand by her. Their song is "I 2 I" from the Goofy Movie.
Jacob Vela
Best Man
Griffin and Jacob go way back. Their fathers served in the Army together and their families were able to move alongside each other throughout their childhood. Griffin bonded with Jacob the most over video games and play online together almost everyday. Griffin sees Jacob as family as he has always been there for him. Jacob is Griffin’s best man and better return the favor when it’s his turn to get married.
Shannon O'Donnell

Rylee Shannon Carfer met Shannon Riley O'Donnell in college at UGA. Shannon and Rylee connected freshman year and went through the music therapy program together. Rylee credits her college sanity to Shannon's friendship and skills that inspired Rylee to get a planner and get her life together. They have stayed in touch since college through travels, music therapy stories, watching the Twilight Saga over and over again, and regular FaceTimes. Their song is "Duo" by Ben Rector.
Michael McFadden

Griffin and Michael met the summer before 8th grade playing games together at a teen center in Hawaii. Michael shares Griffin’s sense of humor and love for video games and made a great roommate when they lived together as young adults. Michael serves in the US Army and spent his leave hanging out with Griffin in Georgetown when he could have chosen to go anywhere else. Griffin claims he is Michael’s best friend and is honored to have him be a part of his wedding.
Carlee Durden

Carlee Durden is Rylee's partner in trauma. Rylee first met Carlee at Redcoat band camp in college when Rylee won Carlee over by sharing her snacks. Carlee then chose Rylee to be her Redcoat little, and later they matched as SAI big and little sisters, and eventually roommates (shoutout to Andrew). They are the sisters they never had and talk on the phone every Tuesday. Their song is "Invisible String" by Taylor Swift.
Tristan Burke
Groomsman
As Griffin’s actual brother, they know each other from spending their childhood together. Griffin loved fighting with his brother growing up but knows Tristan secretly looked up to him. They share their inherited senses of humor and both value family above all. They played on the original X-Box together as kids and still get competitive at family game nights. “Love you little bro” -Griffin.
Alexandra Morton

Ally and Rylee share one brain cell and met in high school marching band. They along with Emma and Maya began to room together on away trips with the band. Ever since they have been in group chats and had girl trips. Rylee convinced Ally to transfer to Georgia for college and SHE DID and they became roommates through COVID 19 and graduation. Their song is the soundtrack to Top Gun.
Kyle Mooney

Griffin met Kyle during the fire academy being assigned to the same squad. Kyle originally intimidated Griffin but once he got to know him realized he’s a really genuine guy. Griffin and Kyle have since worked together on the same shift at station 1 and station 4 and coworkers refer to them as father and son. Kyle is great at putting up Griffin’s shenanigans at work and Griffin loves Kyle and his family. Shoutout to Mimi.
Emma Peterman

Rylee met Emma in high school marching band. During freshman year, they spent their mornings together chatting in the hallways and Emma asked Rylee to room with her and some other girls for their band South Padre Trip. Rylee was so excited and is grateful to Emma for the question that led to their friend group. They also have the same purse. Their song is "Latch" by Disclosure.
Hunter Jenerou

Griffin crossed paths with Hunter at his first fire academy and they quickly became friends. Work lunch dates and being the best search and rescue pair led them to being closer and have stayed in touch since. Hunter’s wedding was the first wedding Griffin was ever invited to. Griffin is sorry to this day that he was the only one to show up in a blue suit to Hunter’s black tie wedding.
Maya Marchant

Maya and Rylee banded together freshman year of high school as some of the few female brass players. Rylee and Maya have always bonded at their ability to say off-the-wall comments and keeping Ally and Emma in line when on a trip together. Maya can also quote most of the episodes of "Friends" alongside Rylee and is one of the smartest people Rylee knows. Their song is The Theme Song from "Friends".
Omar Maynes

Omar and Griffin were in the same computer class at Wheeler Middle School in Hawaii. Their friendship began with Omar giving Griffin a drawing of toss the turtle, and has been drawing for him since. Griffin went to Omar for sketches for his first tattoo. Griffin and Omar bonded over late nights and raging over the Dark Souls Trilogy. Shoutout to Abe.
Giselle Copa

Giselle and Rylee first met working together at Chick-Fil-A as teenagers. They quickly became close and would treat themselves to dinner and shopping trips regularly. Through all phases of growing up, Rylee and Giselle have stayed in touch with each other and kept updated with gossip and drama from their prospective careers. Their song is "Best Friend" by Saweetie and Doja Cat.

Griffin and Ryan grew close in their days together as instructors for the newest fire cadets. As the Goose and Maverick of the instructors, they are basically the same person. Griffin and Rylee have also come to know and love Ryan's lovely wife Alayna and their adorable son Bennett. Bennett is also part of the wedding party as our ring bearer.

Lillee is Rylee's cousin from Georgia on her mom's side of the family. Rylee first held Lillee as a baby in 2019 and so glad to have her as a part of her special day!
Landon Cox

Landon is Rylee's cousin from Georgia on her mom's side of the family. Rylee first held Landon as baby when she was just in high school and she can't believe how grown up he is now.
Amelia Mooney

Amelia Mooney is Kyle and Sarah Mooney's daughter, and Griffin's best friend. Rylee and Griffin love the Mooney family and are honored to have them be a part of their big day.

Bennett is the son of Ryan and Alayna McCormac and is Rylee's best friend. Rylee and Griffin love Bennett and can't wait to see him in a tiny suit.
