GETTING TO VIETNAM

You’ll need a passport that’s valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, with at least one blank page for entry and exit stamps. Most nationalities require a visa, which can be easily obtained online through Vietnam’s official E-Visa site. You should apply for a visa to Vietnam at least 1-2 weeks before your travel date to avoid delays, but you can apply up to one year in advance. It is best to apply when you have your travel dates and accommodation details confirmed.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN)

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is the main airport serving Ho Chi Minh City. Many major airlines offer one-stop flights from the U.S., and arrivals are typically smooth and straightforward. If you're flying into Tan Son Nhat airport, you’ll need to complete a pre-arrival form in addition to the visa within 72 hours of arrival. Guests at An Lam Retreats can arrange airport transportation directly with their team. If you need support arranging transportation to and from the airport, reach out to us directly.

Wink Saigon Centre

Wink Saigon Centre (75 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, District 1) is a newly built modern “lifestyle” hotel with a minimalist, high-tech design and a younger, more self-service feel. Rooms are compact but efficient, generally ranging from 20–30 sq. meters with city views. The hotel is located on a quieter street near the Saigon Zoo & Botanical Gardens and is approximately 7 minutes from the boat dock and 25 minutes from the wedding venue. Rates generally range from 1,700,000–4,000,000 VND/night (~$68–160 USD).

Mường Thanh Grand Sài Gòn Centre Hotel

Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre (8A Mac Dinh Chi Street, District 1) offers a more traditional full-service hotel experience with larger rooms, warm interiors, and a quieter atmosphere. It’s also conveniently located near major District 1 landmarks and is approximately 6 minutes from the boat dock and 28 minutes from the wedding venue. Rates generally range from 2,800,000–3,600,000 VND/night (~$112–144 USD). This may be a particularly good fit for guests looking for a bit more space and a more classic hotel environment.
