We kindly ask that you RSVP by June 26, 2026. We would love to hear from you sooner if possible. Thank you!
All visitors need a passport valid for at least six months. Visa requirements vary by nationality—U.S. tourists don’t need a visa for stays under 90 days. Travelers must complete the Pre-Check Immigration Form and bring the confirmation email with them.
Ubers & Lyfts Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are not available on the island. Airport Transportation Many hotels and resorts offer airport transfers, so we recommend reaching out to your accommodation in advance to arrange a pickup. If your hotel doesn’t provide transportation, taxis are readily available right outside the airport — they’re convenient and affordable! Rental Cars We don’t recommend renting a car in Roatán. The roads can be tricky to navigate, and local drivers are much more familiar with the island’s routes. Sit back, relax, and let someone else do the driving while you enjoy the views! Taxis Taxis are easy to find around Roatán and are an inexpensive way to get around the island. You can pay in U.S. dollars or local currency. Water Taxis Water taxis are a fun and convenient way to travel between West End and West Bay for just a few dollars. All hotels and resorts can help you connect with the nearest water taxi. Just note — they do not run after sunset.
The dress code for the Burgers and Beer Welcome Party is casual all white attire.
Island Formal with a twist! Gentlemen, suits or linen suits are perfect. Ladies, bright, fun, breezy dresses are encouraged. The ceremony will take place on the beach, followed by a celebration on the hotel’s patio—so be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the sand and dancing all night!
Roatán is warm and tropical year-round, with average temperatures between 75–85°F. Lightweight, breathable clothing is best, and linen, cotton, and other breezy fabrics will help you stay comfortable while exploring the island. Be prepared for occasional rain showers, especially in the afternoons!
We would love to celebrate with everyone but space is limited. Only those whose invitation include a guest are welcome to bring a plus one. When you RSVP, your plus one will appear if one has been reserved for you.
The local currency is the Lempira (L), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted at most places. Credit cards are also commonly used. The current approximate exchange rate is $1 USD = L 26.15 Honduran Lempiras (HNL).
While the official language is English/Spanish, many locals also speak French and Creole. Don't worry about a language barrier, though you'll find that most people working in tourism speak English fluently.
