Matron of Honor
Casey is my older sister and admittedly wiser sister… I could not imagine my special day without her by my side the entire way. Even though she is driving me crazy with "wedding" planning questions, I know it will all be worth it in the end when I get to marry the love of my life, Ryan. Casey and I have always been like "two peas in a pod" even from childhood when I was the “annoying little sister” wait a minute I still am.... LOL Love YA!
Best Man
I was the only child in the family until my younger brother Jason was born. Growing up together was an adventure! I like to think I paved the way, however that came with a cost; since I was the first to get in trouble + my punishments were harsh. By the time my brothers got older my parents were jaded to my past behaviors. Jason attended IUP, then moved to IOWA for a few years before landing an awesome job with the Pittsburgh Steelers and I am so proud of the man he has become. Jason + I share a lot of interests; working out, working on cars + most outdoor sports, which keeps us close. If you know Jason you can agree that he can be passive; not a bad thing growing up as he was the glue that held everything together. I couldn’t be happier that he agreed to be the best man at our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa is my twin sister! Just kidding, we are actually first cousin's who have been mistaken as twins our whole life. Throughout our childhood we spent a lot of time together; from playing dress-up to buying matching clothes and even sharing prom gowns cause we went to different high schools. Alyssa now lives in Texas and I miss her dearly, however when we get together it’s like we never skipped a beat. Love Ya Little Buddy!
Groomsman
Sean was the “baby” (now the biggest) of the family. If Jason was the glue holding us together, Sean and I were the fireworks + explosions. We are both very hard-headed and did we ever collide growing up. The youngest usually gets picked on the most and we spared no expense. Neither Jason or I realized that he would grow up to be the biggest, so now we choose our words wisely. Following closely in my footsteps Sean attended PSU and now works in Morgantown, only a few miles from Lakeview Resort. Also, sharing similar interests, this has kept us all pretty close over the years. Sean is hard working, dedicated + an extremely blunt person; making me proud of him and his success. Everything considered I couldn’t ask for a better duo and I am excited for him to stand beside me at our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Kenzie started as my grade school classmate, then we turned into college roommates. If you can believe it even after all that she still puts up with me and we have remained "best friends." Kenzie is my soul-sister, as she has been there for me through a lot of life's good + hard times and for this I am forever grateful! Fun fact about my girl Kenzie: She was present the first time I met Ryan and she knew he was a keeper from the start! LYGF!
Groomsman
For the longest time Cole + I thought we were cousins. His Mom, Aunt + my Mom were close friends during school. We used to think "hanging out" was a family gathering until our parents told us we were not related. Nothing changed, as we have been best friends ever since. In high school we were inseparable, participating in track + cross-country, as well as more trouble than our parents cared for. We went our separate ways during college; Cole to Duquesne and me to Penn State. Still managing to get together on weekends + during breaks. If our lives were filmed during those years we would put the movie “The Hangover” to shame. Cole now lives across the country in California; however we still chat often. Always having each other’s back, it's an honor to have him by my side on our special day.
Father of the Bride
My Father... where do I even begin. He moves like a sloth and has a heart of gold. This man has always been my biggest fan, supporter and mentor through this crazy thing called life! I was truly blessed with the best Dad of all. Every moment we have together is cherished and I can not wait for him to walk me down the aisle. You will always be the greatest man I know, sorry Ryan. Love you both!
Mother of the Groom
My poor Mother. Growing up with 3 boys + my dad I’m sure couldn’t have been easy. She was a stay at home mom when my brothers and I were younger and she took such good care of us. To this day she continues to guide me in my life endeavors, albeit with some pushback from my “older and wiser” self. One day I may learn that your never too old for some good motherly advise so I apologize for all my past and future hard-headed moments. Everything I am today is because of her and the amazing job she did raising me and can not wait to enjoy my wedding moment with her and my future wife Kori
Musician / Brother of the Bride
Derek is my older brother who left Pennsylvania soon after graduating high school in 98'. Travelin' + pickin' strings from Vermont to Montana he finally landed himself back in Pennsylvania 2-years ago. As his youngest sister, we did not have a lot in common when he took off for his adventures, so as you can imagine it has been amazing building a relationship with him as "adults." My brother is the only one who has any musical ability (other than my Dad's accordion talents) in our family, so I couldn't pass up the honor of having him perform at our ceremony. It means so much to have him be a part of our "big day" and share his love of music with all of you. Love you lots, brother!
Musician / Aunt of the Bride
Aunt Amy is courageous as she is soulful and also happens to have an amazing talent of singing and performing both solo and with her band. While Aunt Amy can be seen strummin' on her auto harp she has also been known to jump out of planes. She is braver than I when it comes to diving from the sky! When my aunt enters a room it fills with smiles as she is full of life and spunk. We are so grateful and blessed that you have agreed to share your music with us on our special day. Lots of Love!
