Kara and Ryan met in Brooklyn, NY on April 17th, 2018. Both employed by Paycom at the time, Ryan was a salesman living in Brooklyn. Kara was a white-glove consultant living in Austin, TX who just happened to visit the Brooklyn office that day. Ryan walked by Kara’s desk several times looking for conversation - to minimal avail. On his way out, he finally got the courage to ask her… “do you wanna come to the gym with me?” Kara declined. Thankfully, Ryan followed up on LinkedIn asking to connect. Kara moved to DC to be with Ryan later that year in December. Their children, Sophie and Blue, are pictured below.
