We met through a mutual friend the Summer of 2021 (thanks Meg!) and began dating soon after. The first two years of our relationship involved lots of road-trips and train rides from Boston to New York, as Ryan was working in Boston and Kaileen was in PA school in NYC. The distance certainly did not stop us from cultivating a great relationship, with lots of weekends and trips spent with each other and our families in New York, Boston, Connecticut, Cape Cod, and Kiawah Island! After a few years of long distance dating, Kaileen started her career in NYC and Ryan started a new job in Westchester, NY. We soon moved in together in June of 2024 to The Upper East Side and love calling NYC home (even though Ryan vows to never budge on his Red Sox fandom) ! After four years together, Ryan popped the question in April with an intimate beach proposal and family filled celebration weekend on Kiawah Island!
