Things to keep in mind if you are staying on-site: • Quiet hours begin at 11 pm on Saturday night. All electronic devices, DJ equipment, PA systems and non-acoustic music must cease at that time. • No ATV’s, dirt bikes, or other motorized off-road type vehicles. No dangerous power tools such as chainsaws. • No Fireworks. Paper sky lanterns are expressly prohibited. • No unattended flame(s) including campfires, candles, tiki torches, or luminaries.
• Underage drinking is illegal and not allowed. • Vehicles are not permitted in the middle of the baseball field. • The Challenge/Ropes Course area is off limits. • No swimming. Fishing is allowed with state permits. Do not throw any items such as trash, tree branches, or stones into the river. • No glass allowed in the sandy area around the fire pit near the Arts & Crafts building. • Do not nail, screw, or otherwise fasten items to trees, buildings, structures, or other permanent parts of the facility.
All cabins include bunk beds with mattresses, electricity, and indoor/outdoor lighting. Each has closeable window screens and shutters, and some include a fireplace. The bunkhouse cabin includes beds for 12 campers, a fireplace, and is in a wooded area set apart from the other cabins. The remaining cabins are located in the woods and sleep 6-8 campers each.
Tent sites are available on virtually every part of the property. Arrive as early as 12 pm on Saturday to locate your perfect spot and set up camp.
This very unique stone structure was built in 1944 and has seating for approximately 200 people. The area is beautifully situated on the bank of the Wepawaug River and includes a stage and stone fire platform.
The bathhouse has separate updated and clean bathroom and shower facilities for men and women. Each includes indoor plumbing, hot and cold water, and has enough fixtures for large groups.
The Wepawaug River runs through the middle of camp and runs 11 miles south into Milford Harbor and into Long Island Sound. The landscape includes beautiful views of a small natural and large man-made waterfalls.
These include a four hoop basketball court, bocce court, two horse shoe pits, and open sports field with bases and backstop for baseball and field games.
Cedarcrest has a guest parking area that is set apart from the main camp and has space for up to 75 cars. It is located just past the main entrance to the camp. The bridge will take you to the Pavilion area.
