Question

Where are both the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The ceremony is taking place at Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, GA [2699 Peachtree Road NE] at 2:00pm on Saturday August 29, 2026. Please arrive no later than 1:30. The cocktail hour and reception will begin at 5:00pm at The Georgian Terrace hotel, also in Atlanta. [659 Peachtree Road NE, approximately 6 miles from the Cathedral]

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for the ceremony and reception is formal wear. For ladies, think ankle or floor length dresses, and for men, suit and tie with dress shoes.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm at Cathedral of Christ the King. We kindly request that you arrive by 1:30 to allow time to park (if driving) and find a seat inside the cathedral. If you arrive after the ceremony has started at 2pm, we ask that you meet us for cocktail hour at the Georgian Terrace as no one will be let into the Cathedral after 2pm.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an “unplugged” ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present while we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share pictures as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you’d like!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes to both. Cathedral of Christ the King has a parking deck directly across from the church that is free to use for those driving. For anyone driving to the cocktail hour and reception, The Georgian Terrace offers valet parking for $20 for wedding guests as well as a self park garage option next door to the hotel.

What should we do during the break between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Please keep in mind the ceremony will be ending around 3pm with the cocktail hour beginning at 5pm. During this gap, we encourage you all to go back to your hotel and rest/freshen up, head to a bar (The Establishment, The Starling Bar, Mid City, Rowdy Tiger) in Midtown to grab some drinks, or head straight to The Livingston restaurant bar at The Georgian Terrace to have a cocktail or two.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding day as an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening and weekend as a date night!

Can I bring a plus one

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st, 2026! We encourage you to RSVP as soon as you know you are able to attend.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be absolutely missed! If you cannot attend, please indicate so within our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a fully open bar at both the cocktail hour and reception. The drinks are on us and the hangover is all on you!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at The Georgian Terrace Hotel. If you navigate to the “Travel” tab, we provide links to the hotel room block with our wedding discount code. If you are not staying at The Georgian Terrace, we recommend staying at a hotel midtown as it is central to both the ceremony and reception spaces. Other hotels in midtown to consider: The Starling, The Moxy, The Marriott, Loews Hotel, Kimpton Shane, Hyatt Centric, and The Hampton Inn.
