Alex and Ryan met in September of 2022 in Atlanta after meeting on the Bumble dating app. Despite Alex being a Michigan Wolverine and Ryan being an Ohio State Buckeye, they continued to enjoy spending time together and began officially dating in November of 2022. Shortly after, they met each other's families, began traveling together, and ultimately planned their future together. In July of 2025 in Alex's home state of Michigan, Ryan proposed to her. Alex and Ryan are still living in Atlanta and are so excited to begin their future together as The Sheffields.
