Krislund is an 800 acre camp and conference center in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Nestled amongst beautiful mountains and featuring a gorgeous stream through a hemlock forest, it captures the beautiful Pennsylvania landscapes that we love to explore together. Located about 20 minutes east of where we reside in Centre Hall, we came to know the camp in a peculiar fashion: Grace dogsits for the camp director, and fell in love with the property during long walks with the dog. Krislund offers lots of pavilions, lawn space, fire pits, and indoor spaces to gather throughout the wedding weekend. The ceremony will be held by the stream in a fern and hemlock forest. Guests will take a wagon shuttle from the main parking area, and then a short walk (including a few stairs). The reception will be under a tent on the property, and will also be near parking and handicap accessible bathrooms. As the events will take place on grass and other outdoor terrain, we encourage sensible shoes to make getting around easier. There is limited cell phone reception at Krislund, although camp-wide WIFI is available for emergency calling. The camp is connected via a network of private gravel roads.
