What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive by around 4:30 to give time to select seating and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm! Welcome refreshments will be served!

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, our venue has ample parking - you don't even have to park yourself, valet attendants will be on site to park your cars! Emily - our wonderful venue coordinator - asks that you kindly use the valets rather than self-parking so they can better manage traffic flow and guest safety.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Our venue has a beautiful and relaxed rustic feel and while we hope you all dress to impress we embrace any summer cocktail/garden attire that will keep you feeling cool and comfortable. Jackets are preferred for men but ties are not necessary.

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors and cocktail hour will be in an air-conditioned marquee, both located behind The Barn. The reception will be inside The Barn itself and will be fully air-conditioned!

What if it rains?

Answer

We really hope that it doesn't (everyone do sun dances please) but if the weather is not cooperating the wonderful team at The Barn will be on hand to convert the interior into a magical ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space.

Which side of the aisle should I sit on?

Answer

Either one - we are excited to bring everyone we love together in one place, so sit wherever takes your fancy and make some new friends! Our only request is that you keep the first two rows on either side free for the wedding party and our immediate families.

Can the venue accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, but please let us know beforehand so that we can coordinate with the fabulous chefs!

When should I book my hotel by?

Answer

We have a lot of travelling guests so for those planning to stay we recommend booking as soon as possible! If the discounted block is filled the Hotel is large and likely to still have regular rate rooms. We will keep an eye on the block and do our best to add rooms if needed!

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be a grown-ups-only party. We appreciate you making arrangements as we know this can be difficult. Anyone planning to pop by for The Day Two BBQ is more than welcome to bring their children along!
